This Christmas, give a gift that lasts.“For most of us, gift giving means an effort to make our friends and family feel valued and appreciated—though most of our gifts are only temporary.

But what if you gave a gift that would make a lasting and eternal impact? What if you gave the gift of hope? I’m not talking about a gift that’s here today and gone tomorrow, but rather an investment that can change entire communities in need.

When you give a Gift of Hope, you are giving freedom and empowerment. These gifts have the power to rescue lives, restore dignity, and change futures.

World Help believes in meeting needs through physical aid, sustainability, education, and community and spiritual development. After more than 20 years of extensive work in impoverished communities around the world, we have seen success through the investment in these four strategic areas.

Will you choose to give to individuals who need it the most? As you look through the pages of this catalog, reflect on the potential your giving has to transform lives. Fully grasp the impact you can make by giving help for today . . . and hope for tomorrow.”

Help for Today . . . Hope for Tomorrow,

Vernon Brewer Founder and President of World Help

But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind. — Luke 14:13

At four years old, Luis’ body resembled that of a one-year-old. Only 13

pounds, he was desperately frail, and his stomach was

swollen from months of relentless malnutrition. But

Operation Baby Rescue saved his life . . . and

transformed his future.

Schooling for a disadvantaged individual means they

will likely earn more. And a healthier income means

their children will have access to proper nutrition,

IMPACTIn 2012, Gifts of Hope supporters gave to drill clean-water wells

in devastated communities, distribute Bibles to persecuted

Christians, rescue malnourished children, educate former

child soldiers, and so much more. World Help was inspired by

individuals of all backgrounds and means.

We’ve also heard stories of how their giving made an impact

on their own lives. Stone Wildey, 12, and his sister Claire, 10,

were two of those individuals.

In 2011, they made a goal to raise $22 to buy a pair of chickens

through the Gifts of Hope catalog. But by the end of their

campaign, they had raised enough for chickens, fruit trees,

seeds, and a share of a clean-water well.

And in 2012, they went even further—providing rabbits,

mosquito nets, bedding, life-saving supplies, clean water,

chickens, and more! Their efforts meant that families living

in poverty could experience the gifts of nutrition, wages, safe

drinking water, and future health.

We’re excited for a new year of stories like these . . . of visionary

giving, of individuals coming together to make an impact, and

of lives changed. Through Gifts of Hope, we can make 2013 a

year of help, healing, and hope.

WorldHelphasofferedhelpfortodayandhopefortomorrowformorethan20years.World Help is a faith-based humanitarian organization that exists to serve the physical and spiritual needs of people in impoverished communities around the world.

We do this by partnering with compassionate individuals who have the vision to make a lasting difference. We rely heavily on international partners who know personally the needs of their countries. These faithful men and women not only help us identify needs on the ground, but also carry out the physical details of project implementation and follow up.

Currently, World Help directs 96.6 percent of all resources to our global projects, using only 2.7 percent for administration, and 0.7 percent for fundraising. Every gift is maximized in order to bring the greatest amount of aid to those who need it most around the world.

We have received the highest ratings from the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and the independent donor advocate organization, MinistryWatch.com.
