At the University of Rome Tor Vergata, I have, at present, supervised about 100 theses in the
various courses taught, with a 50% of them receiving a final evaluation of magna cum laude (i.e.
honours). Some of these projects have also resulted as prize winners in national competitions
sponsored by Italian financial institutions. I have also served the Advanced School of the Italian
Police, Ministry of the Interior, as a supervisor of a number of theses about Problem Solving
(Master in Security Sciences). Furthermore, I have been a supervisor at ISCEM and an external
examiner for the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
