Getting to Know About Recombinant Proteins

2
Getting To Know About Recombinant Proteins Proteins are a group of organic molecules. These consist of amino acids and are programmed by DNA. These are very essential for any living organisms. The bodily characteristics of the organisms are unique from one another example eye color, immune system etc. because these are determined by protein activity. The process of creating proteins in organism is known as Translation. In the process, an mRNA molecule and Ribosome forms and carry the genetic code of the DNA that translates proteins in the cytoplasm. These small molecules are of different types and are found in different forms. Recombinant protein is a type of protein formed of bacteria. It is carried by a Recombinant DNA (rDNA) where two segments of DNA in a plasmid. The plasmid occurred in the bacteria in the process of recombinant DNA is found to be utilized for a multiple means. There are mainly two methods for producing recombinant protein. a. The molecular cloning: It incorporates the replication of the DNA within a living cell. Configuration requires a cloning vector.

There are mainly two methods for producing recombinant protein.a. The molecular cloning: It incorporates the replication of the DNA within a living cell. Configuration requires a cloning vector. b. The polymerase chain reaction: It is used to precede the replication of any specific DNA sequence.. These recombinant proteins can be of various types such as antibodies, hormones, antigens, and enzymes. The growth factors of rDNA are hormones and cytokines. Cytokines are secreted from leukocytes. Examples of recombinant protein are: alpha-1-B glycoprotein, alpha 1,3-galactosyltransferase 2, acetoacetyl-CoA synthetase, angiotensinogen, biliverdin reductase B, CD200 receptor 1, ephrin-A2, Fc fragment of IgG, Immunoglobulin heavy constant gamma 3 etc.The application of Recombinant Protein and recombinant b actin is increasing in the recent years. The pharmaceutical companies largely use this DNA to produce different products. These are largely used in medications and vaccines. These are s also used to recognize, map and sequence genes. The scientists used this DNA to carry out experiment in the laboratory.Contact Details:Company: Creative BioMartPhone: 1-631-559-9269 Fax: 1-631-938-8127Address: 45-16 Ramsey Road, Shirley, NY 11967, USAEmail: [email protected]: http://www.creativebiomart.net/
