What is EEP?EEP is a program that offers you

the opportunity to apply for early

enrollment at JWU during your junior

year of high school. Then, at the

beginning of your senior year, you’ll

start attending classes at JWU —

earning credits for high school and

college courses while still participating

in your high school activities. You’ll also

be eligible to live in one of our residence

halls and still graduate from high school

at the same time as your peers.

“We were surprised when we heard

David was seriously considering

the Early Enrollment Program.

As parents, we were nervous and

concerned about him finishing

high school and starting college at

the same time. After talking to his

academic advisor, she eased our

fears. His high school credits were

completed after the second term,

and he made the dean’s list! He

had a successful first year and was

involved with many organizations.

We cannot wait to see what the

future holds for him at JWU!”

— Jason and Laura Allen, parents of David Allen

“JWU worked closely with us and

our high school to get everything

in place: transcripts, graduation

requirements and more. JWU

actually cut tuition in half for

Michelle’s first year ... and

continued to work closely with her

during that year to make sure she

remained on track. We never had to

worry that she was in good hands.

Michelle graduated with a National

Honor Society diploma and was on

the dean’s list at JWU. As a parent,

to see the growth in my daughter in

one year was incredible.”

— Ann AliquoMother of Michelle Aliquo

ARE YOU READY? You may be a good candidate for EEP if

• you’re a high school junior (Application period begins in late fall your junior year. JWU will need mid-year grades to render a decision on your early enrollment.)

• you want to get a head start on college

• you’re looking for direction, stimulation and a challenge beyond what is offered in high school

WHAT ARE THE ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR EEP?To be considered for EEP, you need

to have

• a minimum 2.75 GPA (B-) and a B- in English

• a minimal number of high school classes left to complete to meet graduation requirements. (For example, you might have one English class and one or two other classes to take in order to graduate.)

Requirements and equivalent JWU

courses will be determined by your high

school counselor and JWU.

“Briana’s acceptance and

participation in JWU’s EEP was

the most beneficial and exciting

event to happen in Briana’s

academic career. Leaving the

proverbial nest at a tender age

of 17 was a little nerve-racking

from a parent’s point of view.

However, because of JWU’s

superb program, I watched Briana

develop from a young girl to an

independent, smart young adult!

Thank you, JWU!”

— Frank VallettaFather of Briana Valletta
