The following terms and conditions apply to the generic rates, combined rates and sponsorships.• The above rates are based on a 30 second recorded commercial and EXCLUDE VAT.• The above rates are NET of agency commission.• Long format: Durations of 60 seconds or more to be approved by each station prior to booking and broadcast.• Live reads: There is a 50% surcharge on all “LIVE READ” commercials.• Preferential spots: Preferred time booked within a specific hour is subject to a 25% loading.• Cancellation: 28-days written notice prior to broadcast date regardless of date of application.• Saturdays only: No advertisements during 18:00 – 00:00 on 947 and KFM – Uninterrupted Music Sweep.• E&EO.

PRODUCTION RATEEffective 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018.*

* The voice-over fee quoted in this estimate is for usage on multiple radio stations. This amount is payable per artist, per character, per script. These fees are revised by the Personal Managers’ Association (PMA) in February of every year.

This is a cost estimate for production of recorded material at the PRIMEDIA BROADCASTING production studios.

Acceptance of this cost estimate is subject to the following terms:1. No production will take place until this estimate has been signed by

the client or agency, or representative thereof.2. This quotation is valid for seven (7) days from date hereof.3. Changes to the recording details will necessitate revision of the cost

estimate overleaf.4. The music rights usage cost applies to library music only.5. Should the client require music other than that contained in our

music library for their commercial, they will be liable for sourcing the music and acquiring the licensing rights.

6. Cancellation must take place twenty-four (24) hours prior to recording date. Late cancellation will result in a penalty fee, which is calculated at 50% of the cost estimation of the studio time, as well as a voice over cancellation cost as determined by the Personal Managers’ Association (PMA).

7. Payment will be subject to: Payment of cash accounts is due without deduction one (1) day

prior to the production of the advertisement, unless the Advertising Agency or the Advertiser has been granted credit facilities with Primedia in which case:

a) Accounts payable by an Advertising Agency shall be paid not later than forty-five (45) days from date of statement.

b) The existence of a query on any individual item reflected on an account shall not affect the due date of payment of the balance of the account.

c) Interest shall accrue at the rate of 2% per month on all overdue accounts.

d) In the event of Primedia having to instruct its attorneys to enforce any of the provisions contained herein, the Advertising Agency/the Advertiser shall be responsible for costs incurred on the attorney and client scale and shall further be responsible for collection commission on payments to be recovered.
