Ski Trip (Grades 5-8 )
This year we will be going to Minnedosa Ski Valley on:
February 18, 24, and 26. We have negotiated a deal with Ski Valley where we can now offer snowboarding for $50 for the day. The maximum number of snowboarders that we could
accommodate is fifty students. Our regular ski package is $40. We can accommodate all students who want to pay for regular skiing. These prices include transportation by school bus to and from
the ski hill, lessons, lift ticket and rental equipment. To keep these prices low we need to make sure that our school buses are full when transporting students to and from the ski hill.
***Therefore we are trying a new system this year where students will pay their fees between January 5th and January 30th , 2015, and then classes of students will be grouped together to ski on
one of the ski days. This will allow us to fill each bus and minimize our transportation costs.
The George Fitton Library is looking for “VOLUNTEERS”

preparing new books and repairing damaged
books.

On December 10th we had a very successful Christmas Store. Many students came and
purchased gifts for their families. They took their presents wrapped and ready to put under the tree.
It was wonderful to see so many proud, smiling faces.
This year we raised a total of $515.00. The proceeds go toward Samaritan House,
Christmas Cheer and preparing for our store next year.
Thank you to those who donated items for our store
and the many volunteers that helped.
