The Week of Prayer for International Missions begins on November 29 and concludes on December 6. On Wednesday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary, we will have a Lottie Moon Offering Emphasis. On Sunday, December 13, at 4:30 p.m. in the Hospitality Room, we will have an International Mission Study. Our church goal for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions is $10,000.00. Every penny you give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering supports Southern Baptist missionaries as they share the Gospel overseas. The offering represents 58 percent of IMB’s total income. The Men’s Lunch will occur on Wednesday, December 9, at 11:30 a.m. in the Youth Room. All men in the church are invited to attend. Please invite someone to attend as your guest. The guest speaker is Joel Daves who serves on the City Council for the City of Mobile. - Brooks

Education Ministry

We are still taking reservations for Sunday School Christmas parties at the Camp. If you would like to reserve a date for your class, please call me and I will be happy to handle that for you. Looking ahead, please share with your extended families, friends and co-workers about Camp Christian. I sincerely believe word of mouth advertising is the best! If you are happy with the Camp and it’s progress over the past couple of years, please share it with everyone you can. If you are concerned about an area at the Camp, please see me and let’s discuss a way we as a church can make it better. If you have not seen the Camp in the last few years, please come visit, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I’m blessed to serve at Camp Christian, and I thank you again for this opportunity. “Rags to Blessings” will NOT be sewing for the month of December

2015. We thank each and everyone of you for the many prayers and

giving to this “hands-on-mission” of God’s love.

Throughout the year approximately 120 dresses, plus short pants,

were given to God’s little ones.

“Rags to Blessings” WILL RESUME sewing January 2016.

GSCS News Let me say how thankful I am to God for HIS goodness! He has been so gracious to all of us. Our school was able to help feed 13 families this holiday season. Thank you for teaching our children the importance of giving.

I am so excited about the growth of our CDC and GSCS. We have many exciting adventures and programs this very month. From hosting spelling bees to basketball games to performing in amazing Christmas musicals, we are busy little “Chargers”! There will also be a Christmas Workshop and a trip to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Many wonderful things are happening to help our children grow in the Lord and the power of HIS might. Please pray for us as we try to instill in our children the importance of being a servant. My prayer is that we will see (what I call) “Kingdom of God bringers to the earth, Givers without reservation, and Disciples of Christ Jesus”! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and God bless you all!

INTERNATIONAL LUNCHEON SUNDAY

All church members and guests are invited to join New Life’s International Festival luncheon Sunday following the morning worship hour. The luncheon is the conclusion of the weekend International Camp at the church. Please bring a vegetable or dessert if you plan to attend.
