Generations & Gender Programme Newsletter No. 59 | June 2020 17th GGP Council meeting - online The Council meeting took place on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Due to the contingency measures to contain COVID-19, the meeting was held online. It was a fruitful meeting in which representatives of 29 countries joined the meeting to provide an update about the progress in their county. Another 25 people followed the livestream via YouTube. The documentation of the meeting will soon be added on the UNECE website and the meeting can be viewed on YouTube.

In the last months we have highlighted the role ofthe founding members of the GGP who werepresent at the first Consortium Meeting in Paris in2000.
