Basket load testTo create realistic test conditions, baskets are heavily laden: 3 kg in the 3D cutlery tray+, 10 kg in the upper basket and 20 kg in the lower basket. Under these extreme loads, baskets are automatically pulled out and pushed in 100,000 times.

Door endurance testDuring the long life of an appliance the dishwasher door in particular is subjected to considerable strain. An endurance test simulates this strain: with a special device the dishwasher door is opened and closed automatically 100,000 times.

The impact test for cutlery basketThe impact test enables Miele to ensure that the cutlery basket can withstand the strain of everyday use: the cutlery basket is loaded with test cutlery (14 cutlery sets of 4 pieces each) and drops onto a hard surface from a height of one metre.

Freestanding dishwashersFreestanding dishwashers with a hard-wearing cover plate that can be used as a worktop. As the appliance is not built in, it can simply move house with its owners and be installed in the new kitchen.

Miele dishwasher designsMiele offers four different types of dishwashers for optimum convenience and perfect design harmony.

Semi-integrated dishwashersAppliance front can be matched to the cabinetry of your built-in kitchen - for a completely seamless kitchen design. Alternatively, front panels in stainless-steel with CleanSteel finish are also an option.

Built-under dishwashersIdeal as a replacement appliance in an existing kitchen. The appliance can be installed in a run of kitchen units. Built-under dishwashers are available in Brilliant White or CleanSteel.

Fully integrated dishwashersThe entire front of the appliance is concealed either behind cabinet panelling or a Miele front made from stainless steel with CleanSteel finish. This allows the appliance to be perfectly integrated into the design of your kitchen.

Handleless dishwashersMiele's dishwasher with Knock2open can be perfectly integrated into a kitchen design without handles. By tapping twice on the machine front the door of the dishwasher opens automatically - it does not require a handle.

Which niche size is available?The wide range of Miele dishwashers

Extra tall dishwashers (XXL)(85 cm high, 60 cm wide)Miele built-under, semi-integrated and fully integrated dishwashers are also available as XXL models. They are suitable for kitchens with a built-under height of 85 cm. These appliances offer 4 cm of additional height in the upper basket: the deeper basket offers even greater flexibility and more loading options for example for stemware, large coffee mugs and plates with a diameter of up to 23 cm.

SensorTronic/slanted fascia/TFT display: a 5-line TFT display with sensor pushbuttons to the side allows menu content to be clearly presented. This guarantees easy user guidance and particularly simple cleaning. The slight incline ensures good readability of the display. Thanks to their stylish design, dishwashers with SensorTronic controls blend in particularly well with Generation 6000 built-in appliances.

All Miele dishwashers are particularly simple and convenient to operate. Choose between modern touch controls, intuitive programme selector buttons or the classic rotary selector switch, TFT display, text display or 7-segment display. Regardless of which user interface you choose - you are always guided logically and intuitively through all steps.

Programme selector buttons/slanted fascia/text display: dishwashing programmes and options can be easily selected and changed with the touch of a button. The single-line text display and the slightly slanted fascia are easy to read. ExtraQuietThe Miele ExtraQuiet programme washes your dishes very quietly with sound emissions of only 38 dB (A) so that you can barely notice it. Ideal for open-plan kitchens and when the dishwasher is run overnight.

FlexiTimer with EcoStartMiele dishwashers are even smarter with EcoStart. With this function you can protect the environment and make use of time variable tariffs, leaving the selection of the cheapest electricity tariff for the particular running time to your appliance. You can programme three different tariffs and only have to determine the latest possible finish time. The dishwasher will choose the cheapest starting time within the time window provided.

Freshwater dishwashers with water consumption from 6.5 lMiele dishwashers rely solely on fresh water and in the Automatic/Sensor wash programme can wash crockery with as little as 6.5 l of water - much less than the contents of a sink. With this feature Miele has reduced water consumption by 85% over the last 30 years. Electricity consumption is also reduced to new all-time lows: in the ECO programme, Miele dishwashers achieve energy consumption values of only 0.67 kWh.

Half loadUsing automatic load recognition, Miele dishwashers automatically detect the amount of crockery in the cabinet and adjust water and electricity consumption accordingly. Thanks to this function, there is no longer any need to wait until a dishwasher is fully loaded.

High installationMiele dishwashers meet you at eye level: all built-under, integrated and fully integrated dishwashers from Miele can be installed in your kitchen at a convenient raised working height. The benefit: Crockery can be loaded and unloaded whilst standing up in an ergonomic and convenient position. Easy on the back without having to bend.

Hot water connectionAll Miele dishwashers can be connected to a hot water supply with a temperature of up to 60°C. In the ‘Gentle’ programme, this reduces electricity consumption by up to 50% and running times by up to 10%. In the ECO programme, energy consumption of a dishwasher is reduced by up to 0.45 kWh.


The patented salt container is located in the dishwasher door; it can be conveniently filled with the door half-open and without having to bend. It is no longer necessary to bend to remove the lower basket and to access a salt container at the bottom of the appliance.

The versatility of the intelligent 3D cutlery tray+ is a key feature. Width, height and depth are adjustable to suit any type of load. Thanks to hinged rows of spikes in the centre section, there is more space for large utensils such as salad spoons or kitchen knives. Sound emissionsMiele dishwashers operate at particularly quiet noise levels from 41 dB (A) and deliver consistently perfect results. This is even significantly more quiet than a normal conversation.

TimeControlEverything under control at a glance: The useful LED indicators on fully integrated dishwashers show immediately when the programme has finished. An hour before the end of the cycle, the LEDs will switch off from left to right at 20-minute intervals. At the end of the cycle, AutoOpen opens the door to the ajar position. TimeControl is ideal for all types of built-in situations, including eye-level installations and a flush mounted plinth.

Touch on metalMiele's new operating philosophy offers convenience in a class of its own. It combines a high-quality flush design with an intuitive navigation interface from left to right. The SolarSave feature is the ideal programme for households with a hot water supplied by solar-thermal panels, a heat pump or gas/oil central heating, as it only uses the temperature of the incoming, already heated, hot water.
