Aquatronica’s electronic AQUARIUM CONTROLLER EVOLUTION is easy to use, allowing you to control all the electrical devices in an aquarium and to monitor all their parameters; it can be used for soft water aquariums, salt water aquariums or both simultaneously. In fact this device can:
Control all the interfaces for measuring the chemical values inside the aquarium and all the accessories connected to the system;
Set the settings you want in your aquarium; Consult the data relating to the measurements taken.
Its modern and functional design as well as its numerous functionsand applications make the Aquarium controller a true furnishing item, as well as an essential element to control an aquarium. Its main feature is that it can be reprogrammed from a Pc so as to keep all the enabled functions, and those which can be implemented in the future, updated. The graphic display also ensures optimal device programming, constant check of the measurements taken, graphic display of their trends over time. Thanks to just one control unit, the Aquarium controller system currently guarantees the following functions:
Control of one or more aquariums, even different types,connecting several Power Units (up to 10).
Manual control of the sockets (from 6 to 80) in the case of any type of maintenance without having to disconnect any of the utilities.
Multi-timer function on each socket (from 6 to 160 programmes) to control automatic switching on and off of the devices connected. (Fig. 1)
Wave effect by alternately activating 2 or 3 movement pumps with repetitive cycles, also alternated with pauses.
Tide effect by alternately activating 2 movement or ascent pumps with fixed 6.15 hour cycles (tide time).
Summer function for powering an under-sand heating wire at 5 min/h intervals.
Black-out checks to control the duration of a black-out. Sound and visual alarms that warn the user in case of
malfunction. Electronic diary for managing the routine and extraordinary
maintenance reminder (Fig. 4). Reading and controlling parameters for measuring, viewing
and altering (by means of sensors and interfaces) the values measured (Fig. 2-3).
Automatic recognition of the devices connected (Plug & Play) to the system, automatically enabling the relative menus.
Connection to a PC to streamline all the settings wanted, to create a back-up of the data measured and to update both software and firmware.

TEMPERATURE & LEVEL INTERFACE
The Temperature & L evel Interface lets the user connect additional Aquatronica temperature (ACQ001S) and level (ACQ300) sensors. This interface consists of:
a connector for the BUS connection to the system via relative cable;
two connectors for the sensors mentioned above. The moment the interface is connected to the system, it will automatically identify the sensor “Plug & Play” as well as enable the relevant configuration menu.

LOW RANGE CONDUCTIVITY INTERFACE
The Low Range Conductivity Interface is used to measure and control the conductivity value in soft water aquariums through the connection of the relevant electrode (Low Range Conductivity Electrode, ACQ310N-MS) by Aquatronica. This interface consists of:
a connector for the BUS connection to the system via relative cable;
a connector for the electrode. The moment the interface is connected to the system, it will automatically identify the sensor “Plug & Play” as well as enable the relevant configuration menu.

PH INTERFACE
PH Interface for measuring and checking the pH in theaquarium, by simply connecting an Aquatronica pH electrode (ACQ310N- PH). The PH interface consists of:
a connector for the BUS connection to the system via relative cable;
a standard BNC connector for the electrode. The moment the interface is connected to the system, it will auto- matically identify the sensor “Plug & Play” as well as enable the relevant configuration menu.

REDOX INTERFACE
Redox Interface for measuring and checking the ORPvalue (Oxide-Reduction Potential) in the aquarium, by connecting an Aquatronica ORP electrode (ACQ310N-RX). This interface consists of:

a standard BNC connector for the electrode. The moment the interface is connected to the system, it will automatically identify the sensor “Plug & Play” as well as enable the relevant configuration menu.

The pH electrode is for measuring the pH level in anaquarium in continuous immersion. It must be connected to power units through the appropriate interface (ACQ210N-PH). Thanks to the Aquatronica systems flexibility, it is possible to simultaneously connect and monitor several electrodes and interfaces of the same type.

Dissolved Oxygen Probe is used to measure and control the value of dissolved oxygen in salt or fresh water aquariums (O2); our probe works in continuous immersion. WATER LEAKAGE SENSOR
The water leakage sensor is used to detect possible water leaks on flat surfaces where the aquarium is positioned: in this way, based on how it is programmed, certain functions can be enabled or disabled and/or some alarms can be triggered to minimize damages. It can detect both fresh and salt water leaks. The sensor requires the relative interface (ACQ210N-WL) to be connected to the system.

DOSING PUMPS Aquatronica dosing pumps guarantee the possibility ofmetering liquids in your aquarium. The module consistsin 3 peristaltic pumps that work independently from one another and allow the following types of dosage: • Single dosage: used to dispense the preset quantity
of a substance at the time and on the day required; • Repetitive dosage: used to repeat the single dosage at
regular intervals (time - date); • Weekly dosage: used to dispense the preset dosage just
on the required days of the week; • Distributed dosage: used to distribute the substance
required evenly over a set time lapse. The dosing pumps by Aquatronica are also used to dispense elements based on data supplied by the electrodes connected to the system: this innovative function proves useful to automatically correct the biological balance of the water. TUNZE® PUMPS MODULE The Tunze® Pumps Module enables 12V Tunze®
motion pumps to be controlled by the Aquarium controller system. The module allows the user to utilize the controller and/or a PC (through a USB interface ACQ222) to set up one or more programs that produce a dimmable wave or tide effect using the pumps connected to the system. The module permits to connect the pumps and replaces the Single Controller or Multicontroller. With its great flexibility, the system can reproduce a host of effects using various combinations of pumps at different times of the day. Also, when connected to a day/night brightness sensor system (optional), it can automatically reduce pump operation to minimum speed during the night, which diminishes the wave action in the aquarium. The ability of the system to handle up to 4 modules (16 pumps) at the same time also allows the user the control multiple tanks separately and obtain very powerful effects in large tanks. The module is Equipped with: - 1 connector for the Aquatronica bus; - 4 connectors for the pumps; - 1 connector for the day/night sensor. SILCO is a ready-to-use resin with excellent chemical and physical properties and high performance, suited for the production of totally deionised water free of silicates, phosphates and nitrates. This resin’s specific characteristics make it ideal for deionizing osmotic system water and for heavy duty uses; particularly good for treating water with high silicate and organic matter content. SILCO changes its colour as it is depleting, going from emerald green to blue with a considerable chromatic effect, eliminating everything that the osmotic membrane does not retain. EXTREME PHOS is ideal during the very early stage of preparation and start-up of salt water or soft water tanks and at any time when they need to be reduced or eliminated. Highly selective resin and with the lowest percentage of water that assures higher absorption with the same amount used. 500 ml is enough to treat 500 litres of salt water or soft water.
How to use: The resin can be used in fluid bed filters, forced flow filters, filtering socks and backpack filters. When using with fluid bed or forced flow filters, set a moderate water flow rate. DE-PHOS is a new synthetic ceramic resin purposely designed and optimised to absorb and remove phosphates and silicates from fresh and salt water aquariums. DE-PHOS is exceptionally efficient and boasts a high porosity as it is made using a special process that produces grains with a large filtering surface, guaranteeing the effective removal of phosphates and silicates. The size and shape of each single grain ensure a high performance and an optimum cross flow of the water meaning there are no compaction problems. Totally non toxic. No aluminium compounds or harmful substances are released. No phosphates or silicates released. Suitable for continuous use.
500ml of product is suitable to treat 500 litres of salt or fres water.
How to use: DE-PHOS is recommended for use with a fluid bed or forced flow filter. Wash the resin after placing in the filter, throwing away the first few litres of water. DECAPHOS is a professional iron hydroxide oxide based synthetic resin made using a special patented chemical process to guarantee a high absorption rate of phosphates and silicates in fresh and salt water aquariums. DECAPHOS is a synthetic material with an active matrix chemical formulation and can maximise absorption of phosphates and silicates avoiding premature depletion due to any interaction there may be with the elements in the water. Its special formula helps to keep the water more transparent. It does not release any substances or the absorbed phosphates and silicates in the water. DECAPHOS is particularly suited for use with fluised bed filters. 500ml treat up to 1,000 litres of salt water and 2,000 litres of fresh water.
How to use: Use the resin on a fluid bed filter of forced flow filter with a moderate flow of water positioned between two sponges or layers of filtering wool. Wash the resin after placing it in the filter, throwing away the first few litres of water. The resin can also be used as “passive”, placing it in a filtering sock in an area of heavy water flow and then washing with water. Do not use in fluid bed or forced flow filters without sponges or filtering wool. Recommended doses : 50-100 ml in 200 litres of soft or 100 litres of salt water.

How to use: The product may contain traces of powder. Before each use, wash the zeolite in running fresh water, then put it in a reactor of zeolite. This product is also suitable to be used with a filter sock and placed in a filter in the sump or in an area with strong water passage. Recommended doses: The recommended doses can vary greatly depending on the type and run of aquarium, and on the number and size of the animals.
