Digital Storytelling

• A short movie that combines narrative with digital content (images, sounds, video)

• Tools needed: a PC, a mic, DS software (Windows Movie Maker, Microsoft Photo Story, etc)

Creating The Digital Story (Video)

• Group project• Title - social sciences topics based on students’

disciplines/ topics in the course book• 8 to 10 minutes long• Creative and original• The video should include:

– Narration (each member must contribute their voice for the DST)

Software to Create DST

• Students are free to use any video editing software they like.

• Recommended software are:– Microsoft Photo Story 3– Windows Movie Maker (readily installed)
