Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an area of Computer
Science that emphasizes the creation of intelligent
machines that work and react like humans. AI is
sometimes called Machine Intelligence. “Alexa” is
a brand of smart speakers developed by Amazon.
The devices will be connected to the voice-
controlled intelligent personal assistant service-
Alexa, which responds to the name Alexa. “Sophia”
is a Social humanoid robot developed by Hong Kong
based company. Sophia is the latest and most
advanced robot introduced on October 11, 2017 by
United Nations. The AI program analyses
conversations, extracts data and allow to improve
responses in the future.

explained about different phases of advertise-
ments, the concept of multi product advertising
with the help of a skit. They also highlighted the
cost effectiveness of multi product advertising. They
concluded the program with a ramp walk for differ-

students were enlightened by the subject and
domain experts of various fields. The students
have learnt the process of loans and subsidies.
On the last day, the students visited Sri Krishna
Jute Mill on a field trip that enhanced their
knowledge of the works at factories and industries.
On this occasion Dr. Sr. Mercy, Principal suggested
and encouraged the students not to wait for
Government Jobs but to avail the opportunities of

cottage stay experience in three batches. The
duration of the programme was from 10th
November to 3rd December, 2018. The main
objective of the cottage stay was group living,
decision making, and management of available
resources. Students performed various duties
such as Cook, Maid, Waitress, Hostess, Treasurer
and their assistants during the stay.
On 14 November 2018 the second session of The-The-The-The-The-
atre Artsatre Artsatre Artsatre Artsatre Arts was conducted. I and II year MA English
students actively participated under the guidance
of Mrs. M. K. Padma Latha HOD. The activities of
the sessions were…Group song, J3M session on
“My Role Model” and Skit presentation on “Im-
portance of Friendship” by I years and “Interview
Skills” by II years. This session was intended to
build the Spoken skills, Presentation skills and
team building skills in the students.

On 14th November NSSNSSNSSNSSNSS Programme officer’s
celebrated Children’s day programme for
adopted village children. NSS volunteers
entertained the children with dances, skit and
songs. Delicious lunch was served to the
children. After distributing the prizes to the
winners of various games they were given
snacks.
On the eve of children’s day Youth Red Cross Co-
ordinator Mrs. R. Chittamma along with 25 volunteers
visited Juvenile home (boys home) at Sanivarapupet,
Eluru to distribute fruits, sweets and pens. The stu-
dents performed cultural activities.
