Gender Checklist
Implementation level
This checklist is defined to measure that project is addressing the practical gender need and supporting the strategic gender interests during the course of project implementation.
The gender and protection officer will ensure gender mainstreaming through field visits observations, spot checks and document reviews. Checklist will be used as a tool to ensure gender responsiveness of the program.

Information about the project is being disseminated to men and women equally.

Reports and narrations cover equally the issues / changes related to men, women , boys, girls, older people and person with disabilities.
Women VCs have their own independent status and are consulted by men VCs in all matters pertaining to village development.
(Status means that they are not influenced by any internal or external dominant factor.)
Women have control over inputs and service provided by project as entitled stakeholders and not just recipients.
Women have decision making power in all matters pertaining to their well being.
