To approve order approving the establishment of the Dallas County EmployeesCharitable Campaign to be conducted in accordance with all applicable state andfederal laws, with all administrative expenses to be paid by donated funds, andpolicies established in the "Guidelines for the Dallas County Employees CharitableCampaign."

To approve order approving the Overtime/Compensatory Time Policy and itsinclusion in the Policies and Procedures Manual.

To approve order supporting the creation of the proposed pocket park at Stateand Worthington in the City of Dallas for the State-Thomas Tax IncrementFinance (TIF) District with the understanding that the population density of thearea, in accordance with City park standards, warrants the creation of such apark, that the TIF district can still finance the remaining public improvementsidentified in its project/finance plan, and that it will still be able to repay all of itsobligations in the same projected tax year (2004) regardless of whether thepocket park is acquired, the remaining funds are utilized for developer-requestedinfrastructure, or these funds are not utilized at all.

19. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving an appointment to the Office of Constable, Precinct6.

To approve order authorizing payment of the third year installment of theCommercial Crime Insurance Policy covering County Child Support employees fora cost of $888.00.

To approve order authorizing payment of the third year installment of theCommercial Crime Insurance Policy covering Tax Department employees for acost of $6,911 .00.

22. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the expenditure of $350,000 from the MajorTechnology Fund (195) for the remainder of the Y2K Project with funding of theremaining $200,000 from a previous allocation of $1,600,000 and an additional$1 50,000 transfer from the FY 2000 Civil Courts Replacement system budget.

23. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the expenditure of $32,000 for improvements to thenetwork, equipment, software, cabling, network interface cards, and computerslocated in the Tax Office with funding from Fund 120, Unallocated Reserves.


24. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the County Judge to execute a contract with CraigWatkins, Attorney at Law, whereby the County, through its Data ServicesDepartment, will provide report R06641, Inmates Booked In During Last 24Hours.

To approve order authorizing a one-year radio maintenance contract extensionwith Central Communications and Electronics, Inc. (RFP No. 98-103) at the sameterms and conditions with amended pricing of $119,686, effective May 1, 2000through April 30, 2001 .

To approve order authorizing election judges for various listed entities to be paidan hourly rate of $8.90 for the joint election to be held on May 6, 2000.

To approve order approving the decrease in funding for the State AIDS DrugAssistance Program (ADAP) from $178,712.74 to $161,207.90.

To approve order approving a contract amendment with AIDS Interfaith Network,Inc. to extend the FY 1998 HOPWA contract to April 30, 2000, due tounexpended funds in the congregate meals service category, and authorizing theCounty Judge to sign said contract amendment on behalf of Dallas County.

To approve order authorizing the award of Items 3 (Full Size One-Ton ExtendedLength Cargo Van) and 9 (Full Size 3/4-Ton Cargo Van) to Lawrence MarshallFord LP and Item 4 (Mini Cargo Van) to Classic Chevrolet from Bid No. 2000-085364 (Purchase of Passenger Vehicles) at an estimated cost of $94,587.00.

To approve order authorizing final payment in the amount of $3,850.00 toHallmark Restoration for the Addition to the Farmers Branch Subcourthouseproject (Bid No. 99-128) and acceptance of the contract as complete.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe Town of Sunnyvale in improvements to Collins Road, from US Highway 80Service Road to Barnes Bridge Road, for a total estimated cost of $136,235.83,and authorizing the County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for thisType "B" road work.

38. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe Town of Sunnyvale in improvements to East Fork Road, from Tripp Road toTown East Boulevard, for a total estimated cost of $50,505.13, and authorizingthe County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type "B" roadwork.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe Town of Sunnyvale in improvements to Jobson Road, from Town EastBoulevard to Tripp Road, for a total estimated cost of $30,496.65, andauthorizing the County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type"B" road work.
