Essential equipment designed for best practiceBoltight bolt tensioners are designed for critical casing bolting on GE Frames 9FA; 9FB; 7FA; 7FB and 6FA Gas Turbines.

These high load tools feature positive piston stop and automatic piston retraction for efficient and easy operation.

The equipment provides effective and reliable nut release during turbine dis-assembly, and speedy and accurate re-tightening during turbine assembly.

The tools are supplied as a complete package along with hydraulic hoses, air or electric driven pump and spares to suit each gas turbine frame.

Equipment operationSuitable for use by local labour with minimal training, the tools locate on the studs and are linked by hydraulic hoses to the pump. During dis-assembly of the turbine, the tools are pressurised until the nuts can be released. During turbine assembly, the tools are pressurised to a set figure to achieve the required load/stretch in the studs. 3 For GE GT Casing Bolting
