City Location within Poland

Gdansk is on the Bay of Gdansk and the Baltic Sea, beside the Vistula river. The Vistula is also the largest river.

City Location within Europe

Gdansk is located in the middle of Europe, in the north of Poland.

Climate Zone

Gdansk is temperate with cold, cloudy, moderately harsh winters with frequent rain.

There is mild summers with frequent showers and thunderstorms.

Rivers and Waterways

Some of the rivers and waterways are the Vistula River, Motlawa River, Lewinka River, and the Bay of Gdansk.

Amber Museum

Has the world’s largest display of natural amber blocks.

Artus Court

Inspired by the courts of King Arthur.

Bread Gate

It was built around the year of 1450.

Old Town Hall

This building once belonged to Johann Hevelius, who's statue can be found outside the building in the park.

Golden Gate

A triumphal arch.

Neptune Fountain

Displayed in front of Artus Court.

Tower Clocks Museum

Collects tower clocks from the 15th century and on.

Also known as the English house.
