GREENBRIER EUROPE includes all European operations of Wagony Świdnica, Astra Rail and Rayvag. Currently, Greenbrier and Astra Rail operate locations performing new railcar manufacturing, engineering and repair services in Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Turkey.

The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (NYSE: GBX) and Astra Rail Management GmbH merged, creating a new structure operating under the brand name of GREENBRIER EUROPE, in June 2017.

The latest development in the expansion of Greenbrier Europe is the acquisition of 67,69% of Rayvag, a company located in Adana, Turkey.
