Joe worked for the City of McKenzie for more than 20 years before “retirement” to his love of farming. He remained active with his community until his untimely death in 2009. The scholarship will be awarded yearly to a senior at McKenzie High School who has shown an interest in agriculture, business, and/or technology. Ideally, the recipient would be family- and community-oriented as was Joe. Anyone interested in contributing as a memorial to Joe is invited to do so by contacting Carroll Bank & Trust. A memorial scholarship fund has been established at Carroll Bank & Trust in memory of Joe Curtis.

A n y o n e i n t e r e s t e d i n contributing as a memorial to Joe is invited to do so by contacting Carroll Bank & Trust. Hopefully, friends will be generous enough to keep Joe’s legacy alive for many years.
