To celebrate Trillium is involved with many projects that help address these pressing needs in its communities. Current programs include: Crisis Chat (in conjunction with Integrated Family Services): online service with a Chat specialist to discuss current emotions and ongoing mental state; specialists can link to a mobile crisis management team or put individual in touch with options for treatment. Access Point kiosks and website: In addition to hosting the screening site (www.TrilliumNCAccessPoint.org), Trillium is setting up mental health screening kiosks in county buildings throughout the east. Screenings include post traumatic stress disorder, alcohol use disorder and depression. Compassion Reaction/Rachel’s Challenge: A program designed to help defuse bullying and prejudice in public schools in an effort to prevent suicide and build confidence. This fall almost all middle and high schools in the Trillium region will offer training sessions. We also have started sessions in elementary schools based on feedback. Long-term treatment and recovery facilities: Trillium will be building two long- term recovery centers in Wilmington and Greenville, where no such facilities currently exist for substance use disorders. Oxford House and 2020 Vision for Recovery: Trillium is partnering with Oxford House to create 20 additional Oxford House homes in the region by 2020. Oxford House provides stable, democratically-led sober living residences for individuals who have completed a recovery program. Read More

This video was shared by Autism Society Camp Director, Joey Reynolds from the Carteret County Camp. The 25 children you see in the video are children who have never received services or experienced social recreation camps and field trips. CIE Message Center -The Call Center is responsible for tracking and reporting on the messages in CIE that have not been closed. Each staff plays an important role in keeping this measurement within reason. Please remember to log into CIE and close your open tickets within 48 hours. Personal Social Media -REMINDER: As mentioned in the Trillium Employee Handbook (page 22), staff should not identify themselves as a Trillium employee on personal and social media sites. These sites must remain personal in nature and be used to share personal opinions or non-work related information.
