Tonight’s Start: 22-year-old left-hander Danny Hultzen makes his 5th minor league start this afternoon for the Generals against the Tennessee Smokies at Pringles Park. The rookie out of Bethesda, MD has won 2 straight and comes in with a streak of 12 scoreless innings. Hultzen ranks 1st in the SL in oppo-nents average at .122, 2nd in WHIP, 0.98 and 6th in ERA, 2.08.

Last Outing: Hultzen won his second straight start last Monday morning against Huntsville allowing just 2 hits in 5.2 shutout innings. Hultzen struck out five and walked three throwing a season high 97 pitches. The Generals defeated Huntsville 8-1 in the series finale.
