Bon Jovi have toured the world -- but Jon told us one of the most incredible experiences he's ever had was when the band played in Russia: JON BON JOVI ACTUALITY: (1 :23) "Growing up in America, you're brought up on re< dawn and those are the bad guys which , when you go there, you realize that none of that's true, the furthest thing from the truth, there's a lot of wonderful people there. So it was a great experience, it was a learning experience because if anything, you realize that they're not the bad guys, they're as scared of us as we are of them and all they want to do is live and let live and music truly crosses all the borders and boundaries and language barriers, in a way that politics couldn't, especially at that time. You're going there as an unknown band, as an unknown commodity because you gotta realize that in Russia, they never knew who the Rolling Stones were, they never knew who the Beatles, or Elvis or Led Zeppelin because none of those records were ever released . There's no radio stations, there's no jukeboxes, there's no MTV, there's no Rolling Stone or whatever magazine it is that you read this week. It was against the law. You'd go to jail for carrying a list of the records you owned. These are the kinds o1 things, rock 'n' roll is against the law. When we went, we were on the beginning of the end of that ... from there, doors opened up."

2. Jeremy Jordan's second hit is "WANNAGIRL". When we talked to him, he told us abou1 when he started singing at 10, maybe 11 years old back in an orphanage: JEREMY JORDAN ACTUALITY: (:35) "I would record off the radio, have my own tape , like a blank tape and record different songs, but the tape that I eventually bought for myself, I saved up all my money, so I went out and bought Prince & the Revolution, and everyone said man, you could sing a little bit here. Why don't you keep it up, so I just kept on, going after it, and going and after it and the more you do it, the better you're gonna get, and that's what I was doing, I was just singing and singing and people were starting to seriously believe in me and it was great to have people believe in you ."

3. Next is STEREO MC'S from England. We talked to the Rob and Nick who formed the group, and here's how they say it all happened: STEREO MC'S ACTUALITY: (1 :1 0) "Rob and me have known each other since we were like six years old, but then we both moved to London, I think I moved to London and a couple of years later, Rob did as well. And we just ended up really living in the same building, and we just started getting some ideas together. We didn't really know how to do it. We didn't really know about mixing with turntables and stuff, we just had just an old record player, but we used to like just record some beats and I think, in a way, that's why we developed our own sound, because we approached it in a way, probably the wrong way, but we kind of figured it out and got our own sound out of it , and then, eventually we got a song together and went into record a track in the studio which we paid for ourselves . And we were pretty happy with the result , and we thought, oh maybe we should try to put it out as a record, and then we thought, we better think of a name to put out and just came up with Stereo MC's. It wasn't anymore meaning to it th an ;ust to put the track out."
