The TCSG Adult Education Mission Statement: “To enable every adult learner in Georgia to acquire thenecessary basic skills — reading, writing, computation, speaking, and listening — to compete successfully in today's workplace, strengthen family foundations, and exercise fullcitizenship.”

Adult Education

Over 1.2 million adults over age 18 in Georgia have less than a High School education.

This is 18% of Georgia’s adult population.

There are now 28 counties where 30% or more of the adult population does not have a High School education.

1. No County in Georgia has > 30% of its Adult Population w/o a High School Credential2. All TCSG Adult Ed. Programs have Standard Career Pathways w/Stackable Credentials3. TCSG has a recognized Adult Education Teacher Credentialing Process4. TCSG GED Sites award 23,500 GED credentials (a 15% year-over-year increase)
