PY2017-2018 AmeriCorps Grant Application Timeline
The deadline for applications submission for 2017 NOFO is Friday, March 31, 2017 at 4:00
p.m. Agencies/ Organizations that propose to operate in Guam must apply through the
Governor-appointed territory, Serve Guam Commission (SGC).
Serve Guam Commission administers its own selection process and puts forward to CNCS the
applicants it selects to compete for funding. Applicants must contact Serve Guam Commission to
learn about the grant processes, deadlines and additional requirements which may be
significantly before the CNCS deadline.

Opportunity for the Competitive and Formula grant making process. Organizations are required to
participate in a pre-application process to determine the timeline they will be required to follow.
Important Dates
To be considered for competitive or formula funding, a legal applicant must meet all eligibility criteria
as outlines in the eligibility information section of this notice. Additionally all eligible applicants for
competitive or formula funding must submit a pre application.
November 10, 2016-Pre-Application deadline: Applicants must submit a pre-application for
this competition regardless of whether they will be applying for the competitive or formula
funding consideration (see Mandatory Supplemental Guidance for definitions), unless they are
a competitive continuation applicant. Pre-applications are designed to limit the initial amount
of work necessary to apply, encourage a competitive environment, and to select applicants
most poised to be competitive on a national level. Pre-Applications must be submitted Via
LINK Nevada Volunteers by 5 p.m. PST on Thursday, November 10. 2016.
