De Present Continuous ken je als duurvorm voor NU. Iets dat zich NU afspeelt

krijgt een vorm van to be (am/are/is) en het werkwoord krijgt er –ing achter.

tijd in het verleden afspeelt krijgt een vorm van to be (was/were) en het

werkwoord krijgt er –ing achter.

She was fixing her bike in the garage while I was watching her.

We were listening to the new Bruce Springsteen CD yesterday between 3 and 4 PM.

gebruik deze als je wilt beschrijven wat er op een bepaald moment in de toekomst

enige tijd aan de gang ZAL zijn.
