You may have heard of the professor who wrote this sentence on the board: A woman without her husband is nothing, and asked his students to punctuate it, using commas, colons, and full stops. All the males in the class punctuated it like this: "A woman, without her man, is nothing." All the females in the class punctuated it like this: "A woman: without her, man is nothing!' Comma Rules with Aunty Acid Quotes
1. Use a comma to separate a clause that introduces the sentence If morning started at noon, I could definitely be a morning person.
2. To separate items in a series: The perfect guy doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, doesn't cheat, and doesn't exist!
