PROJECT Weekend in LA at the Wilshire Hotel
CLIENTMomentum Magazine
BUDGET$2,000
GOALDevelop a story, sample weekend itinerary to ex-plore LA by bicycle via the bicycle friendly hotel (and neighborhood) with compelling photographs.
Researched and selected appropriate hotels, who were happy to participate, found photographer and local female cycling personalities to go through the suggested activities to photograph. Acted as main writer, model and producer for the piece. Momen-tum’s editors then selected photos and edited the copy.

PROJECT GIRO New Road
BUDGET$900
GOALReview women’s lifestyle cycling apparel with modeled studio photography
CLIENTMomentum Magazine/GIRO
Having run a small lifestyle cycling apparel company, I was able to appreciate the women’s collection, but was sad that the existing photography and retail distribution made it hard for women to really see the pieces. Mo-mentum’s editors agreed and coordinated with GIRO to send out a full range of their 2014 collection.

Check on store presentation, staff knowledge and other local opportuni-ties and challenges. Developed a focus on aligning with bicycle transportation advocate groups rather than retail-ers to develop local markets.
CLIENTBrompton Bicycles
A lovely way to share the product, joy and culture of folding bikes. This was a project that definitely opened a lot of doors for the brand and future collaborations.
