ARTIFICIAL SNOWBALL FIGHTS & GAMES Join us for some fun snowball activities including throwing & target games, as well as a fun snowball

fight. Soft and safe artificial snowballs will be used for this event so it is safe for everyone and can

take place whether the temperature is 40 degrees or –40 degrees. Event will take place in City Park

shelters between 12pm and 1:30pm. Check in at BG City Pool building for details.

SLALOM OBSTACLE RACES Test your Slalom skills as you race the clock to try and get the best time in this fun competition. We

will offer separate races for different age groups. Event will take place in City Park between 12pm

and 1:30pm. Check in at BG City Pool building for details.

BOX HOCKEY TOURNAMENT Face off in this fun 1 on 1 competition that tests your hockey stick and puck skills in this fast paced

action. We will offer separate tournaments for different age groups. Prizes for age group champi-

ons and a raffle for grand prize winner among the age division winners. Event will take place in City

Park shelters between 12pm and 1:30pm. Check in at BG City Pool building for details.

FROSTBITE 1 MILE FUN RUN An annual tradition returns. Participants will take part in a

timed run or walk around City Park that is 1 mile in length. This

event is open to participants of all ages and your 4-legged friends

are welcome to participate as well. Read details about this event

on reverse side. PLEASE NOTE: Participant registration for

this event includes this race, t-shirt, and all other activities listed

on this page. Each participant must register separately.

Participate in as many activities as you would like.

FROSTBITE FAMILY SNOWBALL RELAY A fun new way to have fitness fun with the whole family at the

same time! Participants will form 4 person teams to compete in

this unique relay race. While running their lap around City Park,

participants will have to carry foam craft “snowballs” to level the

competitive playing field and add even more fun to the event.

Teens and adults will have to carry the most snowballs while

younger children will carry less. If a runner drops a ball they

have to pick it up before continuing the race or will have a time

penalty.

FROSTY’S ZUCCHINI 500: CARROT BOBSLED EDITION Our new winter edition of the Farmer’s Market Zucchini 500 with an

olympic bobsled twist. Make and design your zucchini bobsled cars to

roll down the track, just make sure there is room for 4 miniature carrot

bobsled passengers to make it down intact! You bring the completed,

decorated, race ready zucchini bobsled racers and we will provide the

miniature carrot passengers. Event will take place in City Park shelters

between 12pm and 1:30pm. Check in at BG City Pool building for

details.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN -OPENS AT 10 a.m. Meet at the BG City Pool Building. 1Mile Fun Run Starts at 11 a.m. Family Relay Run begins approximately at 11:30am. Other Rec-Lympic

activities will follow after that with exact schedule of activities determined by number of participants. -Course: Start and Finish in City Park at the stop sign in front of the City Pool. 1 Mile Run is 2 laps around City Park and the Family Relay Run is 1 lap for each

participant, 4 participants total.

1 MILE RUN AWARDS & REC-LYMPIC ACTIVITY PRIZES Awards for Overall male/female in Adult (16 and older) and Youth (15 and under). All finishers receive a finisher’s ribbon. Prizes in other Rec-Lympic events too!

SHIRTS All pre-registered participants will receive a Parks and Recreation Frostbite 1 mile fun run long sleeve T-shirt. Limited number of shirts will be available on race day. Pre-register to ensure you get a t-shirt in your size.

REFRESHMENTS AND OTHER INFO Pre and post-race refreshments will be served while supplies last, courtesy of our Title Sponsor BIGGBY COFFEE.
