Father Anthony has given ten years of service to our parish. He has led with faith and integrity and will be missed. On behalf of our school community, I thank Father Anthony for his wise leadership and support of our parish. Thank you! Our staff send you a huge thank you for the amazing job you are doing supporting your children with their Home Learning. We know that it can be challenging at times, especially if you are working around the demands of working from home yourself. Please know that we appreciate all you are doing. Unfortunately, as Covid 19 is now in parts of rural NSW, your home seems the safest place to be right now. I am incredibly proud of St Joseph’s staff. Their continued commitment to their students’ learning and wellbeing is second to none. Our staff would definitely prefer to be at school with their students, but they are working hard to provide suitable, engaging learning tasks as well as finding ways to lift the students’ spirits. Students in ALL year levels are expected to submit two key learning tasks for feedback each day. Please ensure that your child checks this feedback, as it may require them to edit or redo part of their task.

If any student does not submit their two daily essential tasks for two consecutive days, St Joseph’s staff will contact you to see if there is any way they may assist.

You are invited to an information session to learn

more about how you can support your child.

Due to the evidence around children and young people increasingly using the internet and social media, there is a need for parents to learn about the sites that their children use. Learning about strategies and resources to promote a healthy online environment at home will increase connection, levels of honesty and help your children problem-solve in a positive and helpful way. Parents will have an opportunity to sign up for a resource handout which provides practical support methods for their homes. These resources will be explained during the presentation.
