Our versatile wedding facilities can accommodate up to 380 guests in the Nephin Suite with the adjacent Cocktail Lounge and outside Cocktail Courtyard perfect for your welcome reception. For smaller wedding parties this suite can be partitioned or alternatively we can offer you the O Raifteiri Suite or La Fougère Restaurant for weddings of 25 to 120 guests. We have some beautiful locations for civil ceremonies and partnerships should you wish to exchange vows onsite. To extend the celebrations, we cater for pre and post wedding celebrations and can offer you a range of locations throughout the hotel including private rooms for Buffets, Dinners or Finger Food . La Fougère Restaurant We cater for a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 85 Guests in La Fougère Restaurant from Sunday—Thursday. Should you wish to continue your Wedding Celebrations after 6pm we would be delighted to

privately reserve the Cocktail Lounge (subject to availability, terms and conditions). Civil Marriage

We offer the facility of Civil Marriage Ceremony's in various locations throughout the hotel. We can offer a choice of different Suites to accommodate various numbers and styles (subject to availability, terms and conditions).

Sitting Times In order for us to concentrate our full attention on the service of your meal, we request a latest sit-down time for Wedding Banquets in the Nephin Suite of 5pm and in La Fougère Restaurant at 3.00pm.

Menu Prices Please contact Our Wedding Coordinator to arrange an appointment, in order for us to tailor make a package to suit you for your special day. We will provide you with a detailed viewing of our wedding facilities and discuss the flow of the day’s events. Menu prices are reduced for certain dates in Jan /Feb / March and November & early December (this does not include the period between Dec 26th through to Jan 2nd). Please contact our Wedding Co-ordinator, Claire Concannon for further details. Bar Exemption Should you wish to extend the Bar Opening Hours to 2am on your Wedding Day, we would be delighted to order a Bar Exemption for you. This may be booked through our Wedding Co-ordinator two months before your reception and you will be advised of the current exemption charge. Residents Bar closes at 3am. We request that the band or disco finish at 2am. Chair Covers The hotel provides our own chair covers in the colour of Antique Ivory with a Champagne Sash. Provisional Booking We would be delighted to provisionally hold a date for up to two weeks after which time a deposit of €1,500 will secure your booking . If booking New Year’s Eve, a booking deposit of €2,000 is required. We reserve the right to release a date after two weeks of provisionally holding it. The Deposit is non refundable.

On receipt of this deposit, Knockranny House will issue a written booking contract for signature by both parties. Knockranny House Hotel reserves the right to refuse a booking deposit. The hotel also has the right to cancel a booking, whereby the acceptance of the booking might prejudice the reputation of the hotel in any way.

Accommodation The first 10 rooms will be guaranteed to the Bride & Groom at the rates below, on a per person sharing basis including Bed Breakfast. These are held and named by the Bride & Groom and it is at the Bride & Grooms discre-tion who is allocated these rooms. Other wedding guests, who call the hotel will be offered the same rate for an additional 20 rooms. Should the bride and groom wish to hold all 30 rooms for specific guests, the hotel must be notified in writing at the time of booking assuming the responsibility that they will be paying for these rooms. Any rooms that are not confirmed will automatically be released four weeks prior to the wedding date. Any additional rooms must be confirmed with a 50% deposit .The hotel gives no guarantees that any additional rooms other than these above will be available It is the Bride and Grooms responsibility to guarantee the rooms by credit card if they are being held in advance. Jan, Feb, March , April ,May, June , Sept, Oct, Nov. €79 per person sharing July & Aug €85 per person sharing Christmas Period (29th to 31st Dec) €95 per person sharing Please be aware that a supplement of €35 will apply to single occupancy rooms throughout the year.

Cancellation Policy If the client cancels the wedding or moves the wedding to another location or facility, such a decision would constitute a breach of his or her obligation to the Hotel. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing. The Wedding Deposit in Non-refundable Payment Final Accounts are rendered for full payment upon checking out of the Hotel. The Bill may be settled by Cash, Bank Draft or Personal Cheque. We regret we do not accept Credit Card Payments exceeding a total of €1,000. Foreign Currency Cheques & Euro Cheques on Non-Irish Accounts are not accepted. Service Charge A Service Charge is not operated in the Hotel. Gratuities are at the Customers discretion. Final Details Confirmation of all final details pertaining to menu, wines and overall details are required 14 days prior to the wedding and final catering numbers are required 3 days before event and will be billed at these numbers. Any additional guests who may attend on the day will be charged the agreed menu price accordingly. Children are very welcome and menu items will be available to meet your requirements. We advise that the Table Plan is due 1 week prior to your Wedding Day, with minor changes accepted up to 24 hours before the day. Rate of VAT All prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax, which is subject to change should there be any Government imposed changes.
