Planning and Zoning

How do I know if the business I have will be allowed at the location I am considering?

The use of property is governed by the Zoning Ordinance The Zoning Ordinance is divided into districts which have specific use lists

These districts are mapped out for every property in the city

You can find out what the zoning of a property is by: Visiting the Records counter

Checking the on-line mapping system http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/codes/zoning/research.asp

You can find what is allowed at: The One-Stop Shop Planning counter

The on-line City Code http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/codes/zoning/districts.asp
