14 hammocks on an 18 metre long rotating, tilting keel,with associated participatory activity:

It works like this…
Upon approach and from a distance people see the Structure:
As they get closer, they see the People / Crew – costumed in a range of items: from boiler suits, dungarees, stripey t-shirts, golden boots…
Hear the drums…
And chains…
By then, the participant will have arrived at one of our eight Stations around the circle:
MIGRATION:
How long does it take for a Sperm Whale to swim from the North to the South Pole, and – Does it need a passport?
Where do you draw the line?
and the chain rattles: the sound of the waves,Or the plight of the slaves?
ETHICS:
Is it fair?
SUSTAINABILITY:
How long will it last?
What do you think is going to happen to our planet in your life time?
TRADE:
How much are you worth?
Is your brother worth more than your sister?
Do the rich have so much because the poor have so little?

And other banter on: climate change, POLITICS, fairness, HOPE, love,
DEATH, transformation, HISTORY & the weather…
After participants have rocked slowly, and turned gently – they are free to return to any of the surrounding stations, help push the boat round, talk to each other, take
pictures, write, draw, play the drums, or continue their journey…
There may be occasional storms: when the drums beat louder and the whistle blows…

BUILD & MAKE READY COSTS: £125k WEEKLY TOURING COST: £9500
CAPACITY: 14 Hammocks (Average of 2+ per hammock) = 30 people every 15 mins = 120 people per hour. 8 hour days = 960 people per dayBased on an average / three day week = 288010 weeks = 28800
SUBSIDY per person:£7.64(Based upon Build. Make-Ready & 10 week tour)
One day set up. One day pack down. Onwards, ho!
