July 16, 2015 To Whom It May Concern: It is a great honor and privilege to write this letter of recommendation for Monica Sanchez. As a business teacher at the Leeds School of Business, I have had the opportunity to personally get to know her and witness her academic growth, as well as, her remarkable leadership abilities. I have known Monica for the past several years and she is an extremely intelligent individual and very mature beyond her years. Besides possessing excellent business acumen skills, Monica has an unbelievable determination and passion for business and her personality lights up a room upon her entrance. Monica is studying Operations Management and will be graduating in May 2016, while also studying abroad in the upcoming Fall 2015 semester. Monica has been an extreme pleasure to have in the classroom, completing all assignments on time and with the highest quality and professionalism. Monica got along with all of the other students and ensured that she got the most of the learning experience here at the University of Colorado Boulder, by coming to office hours and participating in many extracurricular activities, like the Leeds Student Ambassadors and held an executive position a Delta Sigma Pi, one of the business fraternities on campus. Monica has also worked at the Deans Office Welcome Desk and has been a Teaching Assistant for one of my colleagues here at Leeds. Monica has also mentored other students in several different disciplines. Regarding her leadership capabilities, I personally witnessed her lead a team of fellow students in an Ethnics Case Competition where they made it to the final round of the competition mainly because of Monica Sanchez. In my opinion, I think Monica is an exceptional student and is also very ambitious. I can say with the utmost sincerity that Monica would thrive and excel in anything she puts her mind to, just like she did here at the Leeds School of Business. I also believe that Monica will be very successful and a great role model for others. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Monica Sanchez. Sincerely, Don Oest Professor, University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business (303) 834-7228
