FRIENDS OF THE ALLENTOWN PARKS
Founded in 2008 to foster greater appreciation and public use of Allentown's parks and recreation system, Friends of the Allentown Parks promotes the use and enjoyment of the city's parks, recreation programs, outdoor leaning, and offers volunteer opportunities for all. We are a regional, nonprofit 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization comprised of citizens and business leaders.
Nora Suggs is the flutist and Artistic Director of the Pennsylvania-based chamber music ensemble SATORI and serves on the music faculty at Bethlehem’s Moravian College. She studies shakuhachi with Dai-Shihan James Nyoraku Schlefer, and received her jun shihan shakuhachi accreditation from his New York City Kyo-Shin-An dojo.
