If used for modified atmosphere packaging, skin packaging or thermoforming – using the vacuum packaging solutions from Leybold increases the shelf-life time of foodstuff by the a factor of 5 to 10. A packaged product offers minimised volume, especially with flexible packaging material, and protects against freezer burn.
