At Free2Learn we are passionate about helping people combat unemployment and make the transition from welfare into work. Our mission is to provide and promote opportunities for personal and professional growth for all the individuals we work with.

A Commitment to ChangeWe provide vocational training courses targeted at breaking social, emotional and academic barriers, as well as helping each individual develop the tools, gain the skills, and enhance the abilities required for breaking the unemployment cycle.

Upon completion of training, we provide our candidates with job brokering services, helping them to apply their newly acquired skills and confidence towards work in an industry and in a company that best suits them.

Throughout this journey, we offer support, advice and guidance. In doing so, we do not only ensure a successful transition from welfare to work, but we also make sure that our applicants become an integral and valuable part of the company that employs them, fulfilling their potential for the benefit of the employers.

In order to provide the best service, we must focus equally on the needs of our candidates and on the needs of the companies we work with, thus enhancing the success of both. One Size Doesn’t Fit AllWe believe that a ‘one-size-fits-all’ attitude is ineffective. Our approach is based on tailoring a specific and unique strategy for every candidate and for every company. By doing so, we are also able to achieve optimal results to the satisfaction of both sides; long-term solutions that put both employee and employer on the path to success.

At Free2Learn we are not content with simply training people for a job, for any job. It is important to work, but it is more important to work in a job that suits one’s abilities and preferences. Our training aims to not only teach the right skills, but also enables us to get to know our candidates. We then use this knowledge to match our candidates with the right company.

We learn about the different industries and sectors, and about the different companies and employers we work with. We research their specificities, their needs, their standards. When it comes to providing them with employees, we know exactly what they are looking for; who is the right match for their company and for the role they wish to fill.

Your Future Your SayWe begin by providing our applicants with custom vocational training courses, and offer them preparation courses for EDI qualifications free of charge. These qualifications subsequently introduce our applicants to a fresh pool of opportunities with a view to finding employment.

By offering job brokerage services we are able to maximise the potential of our applicants’ re-employment. By accompanying our applicants from training to employment, we come to know them closely. This enables us to find them the job that best suits their needs, skills and preferences, and set them on the right path to building their own success story.

A One-Stop-ShopWe know that making the transition from welfare to work can be intimidating. Therefore, we aim to make the process as simple and easy as possible for our candidates. We are an end-to-end service; we offer training, personal mentoring aimed at enhancing employability skills, job brokering and emotional support. We accompany our applicants from day one of their training, throughout their search for work, all the way to the initial stages of their new job. From the moment our candidates walk in to our street-front shop, they can be confident that they will find everything they need for a successful journey.

We have an experienced team of trainers; our courses have been developed for specific sectors, such as security and retail. We also offer courses that have been developed specifically for certain employers, and we adapt and modify our training in accordance with the employer’s changing needs and standards.

Our training is employer-led; it is specifically tailored to the human resources needs of the different markets and companies as they emerge and change. We also pay close attention to identifying emerging and changing sectors, and respond quickly by developing and modifying our training and specialised job brokerage to suit these changes. Our flexible approach and ability to adapt quickly ensures that we remain relevant and able to provide the best services to our candidates, employers and partners.
