Free access for parents and students to Pearson textbooks The publishing firm Pearson, who own Edexcel, have provided free access to their textbooks during this enforced closure. Accessing this book will help give you extra knowledge for the tasks we are currently completing but, it may also help with any revision you are doing. It is vitally important that you keep going over topics we have already learned to ensure that the knowledge does not disappear (this is especially true for year 10) Step one: Follow this link to the Pearson website. https://www.pearson.com/uk/learners/secondary-students-and-parents.html Step two: Scroll down and click on the ‘view e-books’ link on the right-hand side. Step three: Read and agree to the terms and conditions. Tick box to be found at the bottom of the page. Warning, you will have to allow pop ups on your computer if they are currently blocked.

Step four: Scroll down through the textbook options to select the relevant GCSE subject e.g. Edexcel GCSE (9-1) History

There is also a selection of books for students in KS3 (years 7-8) Step five: For some subjects the students will then have to select the relevant textbooks for their subject e.g. History in Year 9 is circled in red and year 10 your current textbook, the Normans, is circled in purple (the other books are available for your to do revision as well).
