*******ATTENTION*********AERIE MEMBERS******DUES INFORMATION*******

In a letter dated August 3, 2015 sent from the Grand Aerie: The Delegates at the 2015 Grand Aerie Convention approved a change to Section 71.3 of the Statutes, effective immediately and requiring a change in all Aerie By-Laws. The change states in part: Section 71.3. All dues paid in advance to the Local Aerie annually shall become due and payable on May 31st of each year.

The Grand Aerie is now collecting dues with the new expiration date of May 31st annually. Therefore, Aerie members will have two options to choose from when paying their dues in October:

1) You can pay $20.42 through the expiration date of May 31, 2016. If you choose this option, in May 2016 you will have to pay $35 to renew your dues through May 2017.

2) You can pay $55.42 and be paid up till May 31, 2017. Anyone who joined as a veteran or first responder will have to check with the Aerie Secretary to determine how much their dues will be since their first year of dues are waived. Thank you, Jeff Gueli Aerie Secretary #3996
