Wake to birdsong at Kingfisher Bay Resort before we head out on an off-road adventure. We’ll travel deep into the heart of the island, passing various different habitats, as we head to the sub-tropical centre for a swim at Lake McKenzie; a visit to the historic logging camp at Central Station and a stroll along the banks of the island’s famous whispering creek – Wanggoolba. We’ll hike through stands of Satinay trees in Pile Valley before heading out to explore the eastern beach.

Your guide will manage tides as we drive along Fraser’s famous beach highway to the wreck of the SS Maheno and The Pinnacles Coloured Sands, where you’ll hear the Dreamtime story of its creation. There’s even time for a swim in the fresh waters of Eli Creek and a buffet lunch at Eurong Beach.

Our Premium Tour offers an intimate group tour that is big on experience. Our friendly guide will collect you from your accommodation house to meet the Fraser Island ferry. On arrival, it’s straight out on Fraser’s sand tracks to some of the island’s most iconic spots – The Pinnacles Coloured Sands, the wreck of the SS Maheno and gorgeous Eli Creek.

Chefs at Eurong Beach will serve an a la carte lunch before we set out on our afternoon’s adventure in the sub-tropical centre of Fraser. Here, we’ll learn about the logging history at Central Station, walk through Jurassic-like vegetation on the banks of Wanggoolba Creek and while away the afternoon on the banks of stunning Lake McKenzie.

If you can’t bring yourself to leave, you are welcome to stay on at Kingfisher Bay Resort and enjoy sunset and dinner at your leisure. Our Reservations Team can also arrange overnight accommodation if you want to extend your stay.
