FeatUreS OF tHe raNGe ?The fibres used are thermostable, they do not deteriorate until a temperature > 370°C, guaranteeing optimal thermal insulation, they offer resistance to chemical substances (difficult dissolving of fibres) and a good mechanical resistance (rupture, tearing and abrasion). These fibres go through industrial washes very well.

It is important to follow the washing and maintenance advice, in order to maintain maximum safety of your protective clothing.

Clothing made from DuPont™Nomex® fibres can cope up until 95°C. However, the ideal washing temperature is 60°C. Using a higher temperature does not lead to particular improvement regarding the effectiveness of the wash, and contributes to increasing energy consumption.

Dry cleaning, normal cycle. All solvents except for trichloroethylene.

• The washing cycle must not exceed 1 hour.• Soap and detergent PH > 2 and < 10. Do not use washing liquid which could leave combustible residue on the clothing.• Always finish with a rincing cycle at a neutral PH level, suitable for removing all traces of soap or detergent.• Drying can be done in a tumble dryer or in drying tunnel.• Fluorocarbon reprocessing: Washing at 60°C for 1 hour, drying for 1 hour 10 minutes at 80°C in a tumble dryer to reactivate the FC processing.

Ré-impregnation at each wash recommended.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONOnce damaged, the clothing must be discarded. No distribution can be carried out, even by a professional company.Wash the clothing regularly, as dirt can alter the performance of the material. Check the clothing before each use.
