Day 1 PARIS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Night-time transfer to the Montmartreneighbourhood. Funicular ride (included). Welcome to Paris!On arrival at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to thehotel. Our guide will be ready at the hotel and will give anoverview of the tour. At the end of the evening, we providetransfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. This neighbourhood is knownfor its painters, artists, and its cab­arets… Sit down to dinner andenjoy a magical night. You can choose between Indian, Chinese,French and American cuisines. We will ascend by funicular to thehill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. Returnto hotel.

Day 2 PARIS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Boat ride along theSeine. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Eveningtransfer. A scenic guided tour to discover the history, mainboulevards and the breath-taking monuments of Paris. We endthe visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity toclimb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument.End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, whichdivides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoonto explore as you choose. At sunset enjoy dinner in “QuartierLatin”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre where awide variety of international cuisines await you. Return to hotel.

Day 3 PARIS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Free time in the City of Light. We go tothe centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Freetime. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of themost complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. Rest of theday free.

Day 4 PARIS - NOYERS - BEAUNE - LYON

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogneregion.We travel to the centre of France to the Bourgogneregion, famous for its wines. A stop in NOYERS, a smallmediaeval town classified amongst the prettiest places inFrance. After this we will visit BEAUNE in the centre of theBourgogne region where its streets full of flowers, its hospiceand its wine museum can be reminders of your trip. Time forlunch. LYON – Arrival mid-afternoon -, the capital of RomanGallia on the banks of the Rhône, its historic centre has beendeclared a World Heritage site. Free time.

Day 5 LYON - GENEVA - ZURICH

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Swiss Landscapes. Centre of GenevaWe have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA,arrival. With our guide, go to the Palais des Nations (the UnitedNations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful “JardinAnglais” with its flower clock, and admire the “Jet d’Eau”, thetallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we will continue throughSwitzerland passing the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel Lakes(note: depending on the number of travellers from Geneva toZürich, this trip might be done by train).

Day 6 ZURICH

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat trip across Zurich lake. Journeyby train. With our guide, we will stroll in the most populated cityof Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country.The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the bestquality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a triplasting almost two hours on Zurich lake. The boat makes briefstops, allowing us to admire the villages on the way. We get offin RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque villageoverlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train,and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways.Enjoy an evening in the historic centre, next to the lake, whereyou can dine at your favourite restaurant (Indian, Oriental,Italian, International, Swiss, etc.).

Day 7 ZURICH - LOUVER - ZURICH

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes.Cable car included to Grindelwald first. Lunch included.Today´sstage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes.Take a stroll through INTERLAKEN and follow toGRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee beforetaking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald first. Wewill walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able totake the "footbridge over the empty" among the fantastic sceneryenjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian optionavailable). After that we continue to LUCERNE, one of the mostbeautiful cities in Switzerland. Returning to the heart of Zurich,enjoy an evening at the city’s most popular restaurants (Indian,Oriental, Middle Eastern, Swiss, etc.).

Day 8 ZURICH - BERNE - PARIS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Explore Bern, the capital city ofSwitzerland. Embark on a scenic trip to BERN, capital city ofthe confederation built around a bend in the Aare River, with itsmedieval architecture preserved in the Old Town. Time to take astroll and breathe in the fresh air. Next, we journey to France.Enjoy beautiful lake views on our trip to Paris. We arrive in theevening. Tour ends (or journey continues depending on rotatingschedule of departures). Recommendation: If you start orend your trip in Paris, we advise you to book an extra day or twoin this city. Day 1 ROME

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transfer to the Trasteveredistrict. Welcome to Rome! Upon airport arrival, we shall bewaiting to transport you to your hotel. Our guide will greet you atthe hotel and will provide all the necessary informa­tion. At theend of the evening we arrange a transfer to Trastevere area.This neighbourhood will be a great introduction to Rome, a strollin the narrow cobbled streets of the Trastevere district revealshidden treasures to us, such as some modest medievalchurches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects orscenes of daily life. Many trattorias (informal Italian eatingestablishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spiritwill be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants servingIndian, Chinese and international food can be found in this area.Return to hotel.

Day 2 ROME

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum(admission price included) and visit to the Vatican City.In themorning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a greatintroduction to “The Eternal city”. We visit the tiny state of theVatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity inthe world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And wehave also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, theprincipal symbol of Rome. This impressive con­struction datesback 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we canlearn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the eveningwe provide transport to the Via Cavour area, were you will findrestaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and interna­tionalfood. Return to hotel.

Day 3 ROME - FLORENCE

TODAY’S HIGLIGHTS: Tour with a local expert from Florence.View from Piazzale Michelangelo. We will leave Rome,heading north. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes.Upon arrival in FLORENCE, we head straight to PiazzaleMichelangelo, an impressive site in the city. In the evening weprovide a tour with a local expert, and walk through the historiccentre, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo,and Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum.Free time to explore. In the evening, you can dine at yourfavourite restaurant. In this district you can find restaurantsserving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food.

Day 4 FLORENCE - VENICE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vaporetto boat on Venice’s GrandCanal. Visit and admission to the San Marcos Basilica, wherewe can admire the technique of crafting Murano Glass.Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossingthe Apennine Mountains. Arriving in VENICE, we will board aVapporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic centre.With a local guide, we will visit the marvellous Plaza de SanMarcos and enter the marvellous basilica (entry cost included).Afterwards, we shall be able to visit the Murano glass factorycity. It is marvellous to see the technique of crystal blowing. Freetime. At the end of the afternoon, you will have the chanceto eat dinner in the Mestre area, where you can choose the typeof restaurant that you prefer (Indian, Oriental, Italian, etc.).

Day 5 VENICE - VERONA - ZURICH

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: We visit the city of Romeo y Juliet.Beautiful countryside while crossing the Alps (lakes and snowymountains). We will depart from Venice, travelling toVERONA. Our guide will instruct us on the places where you willbe able to walk in Romeo and Juliet’s city - the city of lovers!Afterwards we continue the journey to Switzerland. Very beautifullakes and mountains with snow-capped peaks line our route.Arrival in ZURICH. Free time in the historic centre next to thelake, where you will be able to dine in your chosen restaurantserving Italian, Indian, Chinese, international or Swiss food.

Day 6 ZURICH - INTERLAKEN - LOUVER - ZURICH

Day 1 MADRID

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transport to the Gran Víadistrict. Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at the airport, weshall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will beready to welcome you and will provide the necessary information.Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the EgyptianDebod temple, Plaza de Es­paña and Gran Via; a vibrant districtwhere you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian,Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.

Day 2 MADRID

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Visit to the Plaza deToros de las Ventas bullring. Stroll through the Retiro Park. Thismorning, experience the city on a guided tour, which showcasesthe city’s vibrant centre, the beautiful Plaza Mayor (Main Square),its broad and magnificent avenues and its many fountains. Ourtour includes a visit to see inside the Plaza de Toros de lasVentas, a fine-looking building. Here we learn about the traditionof “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Also the day includes awalking tour of the beautiful Retiro Park, enhanced by the lakeand Crystal Palace. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset weprovide transfer to the Plaza de Oriente in the historic centre ofMadrid, opposite the Royal Palace. In this area there are manyrestaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, MiddleEastern, Muslim, Spanish, Inter­national). Return to hotel.

Day 3 MADRID - ZARAGOZA (SARAGOSSA) - POBLET -MONTSERRAT - BARCELONA

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Basílica del Pilar, visit to medievalmonastery. Ride on a rack train. We depart early in the morningfrom Madrid. Heading towards Aragón, we pause our journey inZARAGOZA. Our guide will join the group to Basílica del Pi­lar.Directly afterwards, the group will have free time to visit thisimpressive sanctuary and enjoy free time in the city centre. Later,we make our way to Cataluña to the Monastery of Poblet,surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the bestpreserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance andguided tour included). We then go on to the Monastery ofMontserrat where we include a ride on the rack train for thefantastic views this gives. Continuation to BARCELONA, arrivalin the late afternoon. Important note: in the winter months, fromNovember to March (included), due to the shorter days, theMonastery of Poblet will not be visited (so that we can reachMontserrat in the daylight).

Day 4 BARCELONA

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village”visit and evening transfer to Las Ramblas district. Today we willget to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on theMedi­terranean Sea. Our visit includes an informative city tourwith a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteenpeople, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visitthe city’s historic central area with its Gothic neigh­bourhooddating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where theOlympic Games took place. It will be possible to see andphotograph La Sagrada Fa­milia basilica; the masterpiecedesigned by the architect Gaudí. Subsequently, we include theentry ticket to “Poble Espanyol” (meaning “Spanish Village”). Thisopen air architectural museum is situated in one of the mostemblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanishcraftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions andfolklore of the different communities in Spain. Free time toexplore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transferto Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you canselect from a great variety of restaurants (including Indian,Chinese, Halal, International and regional Spanish cuisine).Return to hotel.

Day 5 BARCELONA - PARIS

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: We will travel on a high-speedtrain.After breakfast we arrange a transfer (included) to the trainstation. We travel on a high-speed train. (Note: A guide will onlytravel on the train ride if the group is over 15 passengers.) Thetrain is quite comfortable and it is an enjoyable trip throughwonderful landscapes. On several occasions our train will reachspeeds of around 300 km/h (186 m/h). The train journey takes6½ hours. Arrival in Paris and transfer to the hotel. At the end ofthe evening, we provide transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. Thisneighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and itscab­arets… Sit down to dinner and enjoy a magical night. Youcan choose between Indian, Chinese, French and Americancuisines. We will ascend by cable car to the hill and admire thespectacular view of Paris from the top. Return to hotel.
