    3 Deposits and Final PaymentsA non-refundable deposit, per adult, of A$165 for land-onlybookings, A$330 for coach tours & rail packages, A$550for cruise bookings and A$440 for air and land packages,is payable at time of placing your booking. In the eventwhere your booking request cannot be conrmed, we will

    refund your deposit in full. Final payment is due 45 daysbefore your departure date from Australia. If we receive yourbooking request within 45-21 days prior to your departure,on conrmation we require nal payment within sevenworking days. If your booking is placed within 21 days butno later then 10 working days from your departure datefrom Australia we require full payment in advance to con rmyour booking. If payments are not received by the due datespecied on your invoice your booking maybe repriced orcancelled. Late payments may also incur urgent processingfee of A$33 per le.

    4 Single Room SupplementSingle occupancy of a room by choice or circumstance issubject to the applicable supplement as charged by theservice provider.

    5 Individual Rail BookingsA minimum fee of A$33 per booking will be levied on allpoint-to-point European rail bookings, and seat reservations.

    6 Booking and Amendment FeesPLEASE NOTE: Booking fees are applicable for one-night

    stays and when no accommodation has been booked withrequested service. Prior to document issue: One changepermitted without penalty (excludes airline, rail, cruiseor other services where an amendment may be treatedas a cancellation). Subsequent amendments will attracta fee of A$33 per le, per amendment. An amendmentis a change to an existing booking and not a transferto another tour, where cancellation fees may apply.Correct names: To avoid any possible inconvenience or denialof service, it is important that the booking name given toHolidays on Location is exactly as shown in your passport.Any name, initial or spelling change will incur an A$33 feeper change. After documentation is issued or nals have beenpaid, an A$44 fee for any c hange will be incurred.

    7 Late BookingsBookings made within 10 working days or less beforedeparture from Australia will incur a charge of $33 perbooking. Please note that certain products may incur latefees for bookings made later than 10 working days beforedeparture, or may incur a higher fee. Late bookings will o nlybe accepted when full payment is received by Holidays onLocation at time of reservation.

    8 Unused ServicesHolidays on Location does not authorise employees ofoverseas suppliers to promise refunds to clients.

    9 InvoicesAll conrmed bookings will be issued with an invoicedetailing all services booked. It is the responsibility of thebooking agent to ensure that all details are correct andall related cancellation conditions are communicated andunderstood by the client.

    10 CancellationsShould you or any member of your party be forced to cancelyour travel arrangements you must advise yo ur travel agentor Holidays on Location in writing.

    The following charges (including GST where applicable) will apply;

    Rail Passes cannot be refunded or reissued if lost or stolen.

    11 Invoice Errors & Omissions (E&OE)The right is reserved to correct any errors in rates quoted orcalculated for any service notwithstanding that the invoicemay have been paid in full.

    12 Travel DocumentsAll travel documents (including hotel vouchers) should behandled by the passenger with the utmost care. In general,travel documents will be issued in Australia. In someinstances, travel documents will be exchanged on arrivalat an International Airport, rail station or at check-in at thehotel. However, if the request for delivery (in case of a latebooking) is instigated by Travel Agent or client, a privatedelivery fee of between A$33 and A $165 (GST inclusive) willapply, depending on the delivery address. No refund will beprocessed for unused vouchers. Lost or stolen or destroyedtravel documents (rail, transport, theatre, concert, specialevents, museum, exhibit or sightseeing tickets) cannot bereplaced or refunded. Note carefully: Principals will only

    accept an ofcial Holidays on Loc ation voucher or their ownvoucher validated by Holidays on Location.

    13 Extra ServicesHolidays on Location and its associated representatives inEurope will not accept responsibility nor approve requeststo pay for additional charges for extra services requestedby clients and not included in our nal invoice. It is yourresponsibility to settle these charges, if any, before departureincluding parking and other nes or fees incurred when arental vehicle is used.

    14 Extra Hotel Nights or Car Rental DaysThe special rates shown are available only when booked andpaid in advance of your departure from Australia. Should youwish to obtain extra nights or additional days car rental whenoverseas, the cost will be at the local rates and cannot bebooked through Holidays on Location.

    15 Costs Not IncludedItineraries, packages and products do not include cost oftravel from your home town to the city from which you aredeparting and the destination country you are travelling

    to overseas. You are also responsible for the cost of yourpassport, visas, airport taxes (where not specied to beincluded in the package), government and local authoritycharges where applicable, excess baggage costs, insuranceand items of a personal nature such as telephone calls,laundry, taxis outside of regular transfers provided, postageand communication costs, drinks, room service or meals,unless specied.

    16 Changes to Prices and ItinerariesSelling prices were calculated on exchange rates current as at27th March 2013. All costs are subject to change at any timeby the principals and/or because of currency uctuations. Nosurcharges in respect of cost or currency deterioration willbe made once full payment for y our arrangements has beenreceived. This guarantee does not apply to any taxes, chargesor levies imposed by any go vernment or their agencies or toerrors or omissions. In exchange for these guarantees, norefund will be made if costs are reduced.The range of products featured in this brochure are offeredat the selling prices shown on each page but pricesprinted do not imply that similar products may or may notbe available at a lower price if obtained direct, however,

    payment sent overseas by travellers is excluded from theprotection provided by Travel Agent Licensing and the TravelCompensation Fund. If we are forced to change your bookingor part of it for reasons beyond our control, for instance ifa European rail service changes its timetable or a hotelieroverbooks his hotel accommodation, we reserve the right tovary your itinerary and will give you , or cause to be given toyou, notice of these changes and provide you with alternativeproducts or services of similar standard.

    17 Hotel DescriptionsDescriptions featured are based on current i nternational hotelguides and contractual agreements provided by the hotelsand suppliers. Any facilities shown as included are subject tochange at any time. Please note that air-conditioning is not acommon standard in Europe.

    18 Room and Bedding GuidePrices in this brochure are based on existing bedding in theroom. Request for particular bedding arrangements must bemade at the time of booking. A twin room can be either aroom with two single beds or one double bed (either onedouble or two single mattresses). Triple room rates can applyto either a full-sized triple room built to take three beds or to atwin / double room with an extra roll-away bed. The provisionof hotel rooms is on a Run-of-House basis, unless otherwise

    specied. Particular room types e.g. interconnecting, twin vsdouble, can be requested but cannot b e guaranteed.

    19 ChildrenCosts vary according to the number of adults, ages of childrentravelling together, and accommodation selected. We will bepleased to quote on the required arrangements.

    20 Specied Meal ServicesMeal inclusions specied in accommodation packages arebased on set menus offering a choice of meal options.

    21 Car RentalEach vehicle is supplied under the terms and conditions of thecontractor. Rental inclusions will be detailed on the invoicewe provide to your Travel Agent. Specic car types cannotbe guaranteed. Rental vehicles cannot be taken into someEuropean countries.

    22 Hotel Check-in and Vehicle RentalsValidation of a current credit card will be required by the hoteland hire car companies on check-in/car pick-up. For certainhire car categories, 2 valid credit cards are required.

    23 Tours, Excursions & SightseeingThese are provided by motor coach (regular services) andinclude the services of a tour escort when indicated and/orlocal tourist guides whenever necessary. Both the tour escortand the local guides will conduct the tours in more thanone language. The tour company reserves the right to makechanges to the tour programme, without notice.

    24 Passports, Visas, Vaccinations and BaggageYour Travel Agent will have full details of currentrequirements. Holidays on Location is not responsible foradvising you of health, v isa or passport requirements and isnot liable for any loss or exposure incurred by your failure tocomply with any such requirements.

    25 Pre-Departure ContactIt is essential that you supply a contact telephone numberwhere you can be reached, within 24 hours prior to yourdeparture from home.

    26 Special Events, Festivals & Trade FairsBookings which run over special events, festivals and trade

    fairs, may incur higher prices and cancellation fees.

    27 Maps and PhotographsMaps are shown for general information and may notnecessarily reect actual routing, location or services provided.Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are notnecessarily included in the itineraries or tours. Hotel roomphotographs may not be specic to the actual room occupied.

    28 LuggageThe luggage allowance for transfers from airport/rail stationto city hotel by multi-stop shuttle service, private car ormini-van applicable is one suitcase per person, weighing notmore than 30kgs, to be stored in the rack provided in theshuttle or the boot of the car. Oversize or additional pieceswill not be carried by the booked transport vehicle. In sucha case, alternate arrangements must be made locally withthe driver, and any additional cost settled on the spot. If youare planning to take additional cases with you, please tellus, so that arrangements can be made and the additionalfees settled in advance. Holidays on Loc ation will not acceptbillings beyond the contracted services.

    29 Travel InsuranceWe strongly recommend comprehensive travel insuranceagainst loss of deposit and other cancellation charges,baggage and medical expenses.

    30 Booking ArrangementsAll booking arrangements can be made through your Travel Agentand the person making the booking shall be deemed to haveaccepted the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons namedin the booking. The contract will be governed by and subject tothe Booking Conditions and to the general information containedin this brochure. No variation to the Booking Conditions shall beof any effect unless made in writing and with the authority of thedirectors of Holidays on Location. All communications from us willbe sent to your Travel Agent. Your Travel Agent shall, on receipt ofany monies, hold such monies for each and every person named inthe booking until that booking is c onrmed at which time, thosemonies shall be remitted to us.

    31 About CostsFor each product or package in Holidays on Location 2013brochures and web pages, included in the selling price arecharges to cover costs of research, reservations from travelagents in Australia and from Australia to Europe, postage,courier charges, facsimile, telephone, bank charges, currencytransfers, documentation, itinerary preparation, brochureproduction, printing, brochure distribution, advertisingand remuneration to Travel Agents. No break-up of costs issupplied. Receipt of your deposit signies your acceptance ofthese normal commercial costs and reservation fees paid toour overseas associates.

    32 Consumer ProtectionHolidays on Location is a registered brand name used byMajestic International Travel Service Pty Ltd which holdsa Travel Agents Licence (30186), is a member of the TravelCompensation Fund, keeps all client monies in a separate bankaccount, and is a member of ASTA, the American Society ofTravel Agents and AFTA, the Australian Federation of TravelAgents. All monies received by Holidays on Location are, asrequired by law, deposited on your behalf into a trust accountas client monies in the name of Holidays on Location with theNational Australia Bank, our bankers. We will be entitled tokeep any interest earned on such monies. It is a condition ofconrmation of your booking and acceptance of your depositin respect of your booking that all monies paid by you to usthrough your Travel Agent whether by way of a deposit orotherwise in respect of your booking, may be disbursed by

    us, as and when we see t or in respect of the services to beprovided or fees payable relating to your booking and thepayment of a deposit or otherwise for your booking shall bedeemed to be a direction to disburse such monies aforesaid.

    33 Our ResponsibilityHolidays on Location and/or its associated companies oragents, give notice that they act as booking agents only forthe persons or companies providing products and/or servi cesand all receipts, tickets, voucher coupons or exchangeorders are issued subject to the terms and conditions ofsuch products and/or services. Holidays on Location and/or its associated companies or agents, do not accept anyresponsibility for loss or injury to persons or property whetherby negligence or misadventure by the principal contracted toprovide the products and/or services.

    Holidays on Location and/or its associated companies oragents, are not liable for any delays, omissions, irregularities,illness, injuries, strikes, civil disturbances, wars, quarantines,oods or force majeure interfering with, altering, or addingto the cost of the products and/or services booked. Holidayson Location and/or its associated companies or agents, are

    not liable for any dissatisfaction the client may have withpersons or companies providing or offering the products and/or services. The above exclusions of liability are subject to anystatutory liability which may not be excluded by law. Holidayson Location and/or its associated companies or agents, dotheir best to make sure your arrangements are as agreed,however cannot represent or guarantee the standard, classor tness for purpose of the product and or service.

    Holidays on Location and/or its associated companies oragents, only accept liability for, and only to the extent of, anyloss or damage sustained as a result of its negli gence or thatof its employees. We are not liable for any act or omission ordefault, whether negligent or otherwise, of airlines, coachoperators, shipping and rail companies, hoteliers or otherpersons providing products and/or services in connectionwith the product and/or services pursuant to a contractbetween them and yourselves and over whom we have nodirect and exclusive control.

    Holidays on Location and/or its associated companies or agents,are not liable in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury,damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused

    directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which arebeyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonablediligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civildisturbance, re, oods, unusually severe weather, acts of God,acts of Government of any other authorities, accidents to or failureof machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or notinvolving our employees and even through such action may besettled by agreeing to demands of a labour group).

    It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that he or sheis in possession of the proper travel documents and that theyare in compliance with the current government and transportcompanies regulations. The right is reserved to modify theitinerary in any way considered necessary or desirable orto change any reservation, and/or means of conveyance,without notice and for any reason whatsoever. The right is alsoreserved to cancel or withdraw any tour, or any booking madefor a passenger, or to decline to accept or retain any person asa member of a tour, for any reason whatso ever. No refunds canbe made in respect of accommodation and meals not utilisedand under no circumstances can refunds be authorised fortours and sightseeing excursions not undertaken.

    34 Consumer ClaimsAttempts should be made in the rst instance to rectify anydifculties directly with the hotel management, our localrepresentative or supplier. Should any difculties not beresolved as they occur and you wish to lodge a claim, thismust be made in writing with supporting documentationwithin 30 days of yo ur return to Australia. The claim shouldbe lodged through your Travel Agent.

    35 Law of contractThe Terms and Conditions published herein are governedby the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, except whenfederal or other legislation takes precedence.
