LOUVRES THAT FLOAT// The new Frameless Pivot System has
been developed in response to many requests.
// With the blades fi xed from behind this system allows the louvres to “fl oat” free of the building.
// With no end drive connection the louvres can be cantilevered at each end. This not only adds to the visual effect but ensures maximum unbroken blade spans.
// Utilising a universal pivot bracket, there is a choice of four blade styles available.
The Frameless Pivot System truly opens, and closes to a completely new dimension when specifying motorised pivot systems.

FRAMELESS PIVOT SYSTEM// HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS 120mm, 180mm AIRFOILS, 150mm MIDI LOUVRE, 200mm MAXI LOUVRE
1 LOUVRE BLADES The following blades are available using the
FPS: 120, 150, 180, 200, 300mm.
2 HIDDEN FROM VIEW When the louvres are fully closed to
partially open, and viewed from the front there are no visual fi xings or drive systems on view.
3 UNIVERSAL PIVOT BRACKET At the heart of the system is a stamped
aluminium universal pivot bracket. This bracket is common to all blade sizes.
4 PIVOT ARMS The universal pivot arms connect each blade
to aluminium double acting rear mounted pivot arms.
These arms are precisely laser cut to the pivot geometry specifi c to each blade.

5 BLADE CANTILEVER Frameless Pivot System allows the louvre
blades to cantilever each end up to 40% of the total blade span as per engineering drawings 10.06 & 10.07
6 SOMFY RODEO MOTORS The same Somfy Rodeo 230v actuator
motor used in the 200 Direct Drive opening roof also powers the FPS.
This allows compatibility with all Somfy remote & group operating systems.
Fitting within the 120 x 60 alum frame the motor is fully protected even in the harshest of conditions. A removable panel provides easy access.
