The line that reads “Even though I walk in the dark valley / I fear no evil; for you are at my side / with your rod and your staff / that give me courage” (Psalm 23:4) connects this week’s scriptures to the wonderful story of the road to Emmaus, which we heard last week. The Lord Jesus, our Good Shepherd, is constantly at our side. He calls us each by name, beckoning us into a deeper relationship with him. FINDING LOVING CARE AT THE END OF LIFE

Please attend the Archdiocese of LA’s “Care and Prepare: Finding Loving Care at the End of Life” training session. Since the legalization of assisted suicide in California, many people have questions about how to find the best care and ensure that they and their loved ones are treated well and ethically. The training will provide vital information on Church Teaching on End of Life, How to Find Accessible and Affordable Healthcare, Protecting Loved Ones With Advance Directives, and Caring Pastorally at the End of Life. The Office of Life, Justice, and Peace is hosting a training session at Our Lady of Grace in Encino, on May 1, 2017 at 7:00pm. Please join us for this great opportunity. RSVP appreciated but not necessary for attendance. Call (818) 994-2110.

Become a part of Mary’s Shrine and help to bring to completion our church! For more infor-mation, please visit: www.trinitydome.org

SPECIAL THANK YOU We would like to extend our appreciation to the family that painted the amazing chalk art during the holy week. May the grace of God continue to bless you all.

MAY FESTIVAL We thank and appreciate al our parishioners and neighbors alike for your patience in bearing with us for these 3 days of our annual May Festival! As we all know, this fund-raising outfit not only brings in substantial income profits to both our Church and School, where it is most needed, but also garners in joy, happiness and camaraderie to parishioners, families and friends, most especially the kids in our Parish as well as in our neighboring parishes, who may not have the luxury and time to travel to other places and still would readily help out, in one way or the other, in this festivity, up to the very late hours of the evening.
