Property Improvements• 1sq. Mile, well lit, gated, paved parking lot (Max Cap. 22,500 vehicles)• Separate parking for CDL vehicles, tour busses and employees• 30 Trash and recycle bins dispersed on the property• 5 Stop signs added to the property• Addition of 35 to 50 front row and VIP seats• ( Up for petition) New Street added to Main Street annexing Four Oak parking

lot• Tree line reinforced on the south end of the property• 5 story Parking Garage will be built in the near future ( estimated 5 years)

Increased Security and Grounds keepingSecurity Additions

• Retired Hartland Police Captain and Army Veteran, Juan Gettpasme (Head of Security)

• 2 Off-Duty Police Officers (traffic control inside the parking lot) Officer Willie Righttickets and Officer Don Startnone

• Addition of 5-10 security guards during the concert seasons * veterans preferred (3 interns)

• 2 Security Cruisers and 3 security ATV’s• Increased security detail during events (15 min

intervals) during the beginning, intermission, and end of events, plus routine hourly checks

• Solar Street lights for Parking Lot and Property

Grounds Keeping

• Addition of 3 grounds keeper ( 1 fulltime)

• Increased property maintenance

• Installation of 30 garbage bins throughout the property (dumped at ¾ full)

Where will the funding come from?• Our 1st season 7% of our concerts were sold out• 5/67 concerts were sold out• Hypothetically, if the average ticket price was $40 per ticket at a sold out event,

those 5 concerts by themselves, would have grossed a minimum of $4 million• Realistically, our lowest price ticket during concert season is $40

This improvement initiative will cost Four Oaks an estimated 1.2 million in the first year, and after that costs of $1 million annually.

Extending the concert season to the end of April will generate a minimum $2 million gross which will also increase the amusement / privilege tax rate the city charges, to 4% instead of 3%

3% Price Increase on Tickets will generate an estimated $1.3 million per sold-out event (based upon the hypothetical situation above)

• Local High School Battle of the Bands and Choir competitions• Local College Battle of the Bands and Choir competitions

• Local Gospel Choir competition• Music and Hair show

• Summer Battle of the Garage Bands• Summer Hoedown

• Hartland Rhythmic American Poetry Showdown• Ragtime and Jazz Festival

• Blues Festival

Hartland City Music Concert Season (4 months) May-Aug

45% of the revenue generated from these events will go directly to the city’s landscape improvementsand redevelopment projects starting with the surrounding neighborhood of Four Oaks for the next 5 years, after that the revenue will be divided amongst the public schools arts departments for the next 10 years

Community Outreach Cont.• 65% of the new hires will be from the immediate area• Local Businesses have first bid on renting Concession stands and Kiosk during all

events ( annual contracts are available)• 20-30 Internships available Every Fall in Music, Business, Marketing, Security/ Law

enforcement, and Accounting in accordance with Local Colleges and Universities to receive credit towards graduation

• All City Band and Orchestra ( all ages)• Performing Musicals and Plays (local talent)• Music Classes: Country, Jazz, Classical, R&B, Gregorian Chant, Rhythmic American

Poetry, and other Genres• Music Instrument Classes: Novice Intermediate, and Advance: Strings, Piano,

Percussion, Woodwinds, and Brass training
