Duck and Porcupine Mt. Duck and Porcupine Mt. Provincial ForestsProvincial Forests
Cores sampled from living black spruce trees analyzed to develop live tree chronology.
Jacques Tardif, Biology Department, University of Winnipeg is doing tree ring analysis.
Cookies taken from dead black spruce trees are compared to live tree cores to develop tree mortality profile.
This profile will be used to determine a pathological rotation age for upland black spruce.
