Cande lives in a world full of dreams, love and beauty, a great place full of color and magic. As a child, she used to wake up early, before dawn and go to her garden. It was back then when she started drawing and coloring, marveling at how the colors changed with the first rays of sun.

Born into a family full of artistic talent, her grandfather was a painter, and his mother, Norma Elena Gadea, one of the most recognized and beloved singer-songwriters of the Nicaraguan people, helped develop and awaken in Cande, her imagination from an early age.

Cande creates without limits. Photography, collages, paintings and drawings are part of her repertoire. While art is her true passion, she has done photographic work and graphics, in-cluding the album cov-er for “Malos Habitos”. If you are go-ing to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to gener-ate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The gener-ated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from rep-etition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not sim-ply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Re-naissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Color is the observation of light as it is reflected or absorbed by the human eye and processed by the brain. The actual distinction of colors occurs within the inner layer of the eye, the retina.

Inside the retina, two different kinds of light-sensitive receptors exist. The first is “rods”, which are responsible for non-colored light absorption. The next three types are “cones”, which absorb variable wavelengths. The length of the waves determines what kind of color is absorbed. Long wavelength absorption pro-duces red colors; middle wavelengths produce greens; short wavelengths produce blues.

The capability for these receptors to absorb dif-ferent wavelengths exists because of photopig-ments within them. In the rods, rhodopsin(a combination of a protein, scotopsin, and a vita-min-A derivate) reacts to light and undergoes a very quick chemical change that causes electri-cal impulses to be sent to the brain.

In the cones, a similar photopigment exists; the difference being instead of the protein sc-otopsin, photopsin is employed which allows for the absorption of red, green, and blue light wavelengths.
