• If you do not have a person next to you, I will tell you who your group of three will be.

• There will be only one or two groups of three in any given classroom.

ACTIVITY (on your own)

• Write one paragraph describing your favorite subject and what you’re looking forward to this year.

• Why is this class your favorite?

• Why are you looking forward to what you listed?

ACTIVITY (with your partner)

• Turn to your partner and describe to each other what you wrote.

• Listen to what your partner says (make eye-contact and nod for understanding), because I may call on you when we return to the whole group
