EXPENSESPlease include only expenses incurred for your NEA Jazz Masters Live events, including all performance(s) and educational activities. There can be no overlapping project costs between expenses supported by NEA Jazz Masters Live and expenses supported

directly by the National Endowment for the Arts through their granting programs. This grant may be allocated towards the artist’s contracted fee and expenses related to marketing, travel, video and/or audio

taping, documentation, artists interviews, etc. that are incurred for the project. Do not include fundraising or hospitality activities (e.g. receptions, refreshments, etc.), concessions (e.g. food, CDs for resale),

contingencies, or costs incurred outside of the official period of support.

Salaries & Wages: Include compensation for personnel who are paid on a salary basis. (Funds for contractual personnel and compensation for speakers or artists who are paid on a fee basis should be included under “Contractual Fees”). Indicate personnel’s title with their salary as a % of time that was devoted to the project.

2011 NEA JAZZ MASTERS LIVEFINAL PROJECT BUDGET

REVENUES The NEA Jazz Masters Live grant is a 1-to-1 matching grant. The grant must not be more than 50% of the expenses. Matching funds may be cash or grants, direct project revenues, and/or in-kind contributions as indicated below. Federal funds (direct or indirect) may not be used to match this grant award. Revenues must be equal to or greater than the expenses.
