STRENGTHENING IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMMES FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY IN SABAH: DATUK HAJAH ROSMAWATI

Kota Kinabalu, Wednesday - The Fund Initiative Workshop is important in

strengthening the implementation of social and educational programmes of Yayasan

Sabah Group. This is to ensure that Yayasan Sabah Group remain relevant today and

in the future, said Deputy Director of Yayasan Sabah, Datuk Hajah Rosmawati Haji

Lasuki.

"Collaboration with Federal and State government, other agencies as well as

international organisations are in line with the Yayasan Sabah Group Transformation

Strategic Plan 2013-2023. The efforts to implement social and educational

programmes with the support of the Federal Government and its agencies continue

to benefit the people of Sabah," said Datuk Hajah Rosmawati in her speech during

the opening of the Fund Initiative Workshop and 'Focus Group' Implementation of

Yayasan Sabah Group Programmes on 31 January 2018 at The Palace Hotel,

Karamunsing, Kota Kinabalu.

According to her, Yayasan Sabah Group is capable in carrying out programmes that

will benefit the communities in the State as Yayasan Sabah Group has a pool of well-

trained human resource in handling social programmes.

"I hope this workshop will generate good ideas in order for the Group to remain

relevant in its contribution for the improvement of the living standards of the local

communities and the development of the State economy," she said.

The workshop was attended by almost 100 participants.
