Remember me with smiles not tears,

For all the joy through all the years.

Recall the closeness that was ours,

A love as "sweet" as fragrant flowers.

Don't dwell on th oughts that cause you pain,

We'll see each other once again.

I am at peace...try to believe,

It was my time...I had to leave.

But "what a view", I have from here,

I see your face, I feel you near,

I follow you throughout the day,

You're not alone along the way.

And when god calls you...you will be ,

Right by my side...right here with me.

Till then, I'll wait by heaven's door,

We'll be united...evermore!

The family of the late Ms. Janice L. Nelson are comforted by the many acts

of kindness and sympathy extended during the loss of our loved one. May

God richly bless and keep each of you.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more

death, neither sorrow, no crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the

former things are passed away.

Revelations 21:4

Ms. Janice Lorraine Nelson was born August 26, 1957 in Columbia, South

Carolina. She was the daughter of the late of Rosa Lee Brown and Melton

Robinson of South Carolina. She departed this life on December 12,

2017.

“Lo”, as she was affectionately known, attended school locally,

graduating from Booker T. Washington High School. She was a dedicated

employee at the University of South Carolina of 32 years.

Janice lived a happy life and always greeted everyone with a warm,

beautiful smile.

Left to cherish precious memories are her daughter Eugenia R. Nelson,

and son, Dehaven Johnson, Jr.; two grandsons, Jayshon Nelson and Jerel

Jones, and three great-grandchildren, all of Columbia, South Carolina;

four sisters: Emma Seibles, Jackie McCants, Sherry (Herman) Logan of

Columbia, South Carolina, and Sybol English of North Carolina; and five

brothers: Mark (Tamika) Brown, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Brown, Curtis

(Lois) Younger, all of Columbia, South Carolina, and Charles (Laborad)

Brown of Atlanta, Georgia. She also leaves an uncle, Robert (Eden)

Harrison of Columbia, South Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews,

others relatives, and dear friends.

Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye;

Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.

In the morning sunrise when all the world is new,

Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye;

Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.

In the evening sunset, when all the world is through,

Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you.

It won't be forever, the day will come and then

My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.

Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye;

Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.

Every waking moment, and all your whole life through

Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Just wish me to be near you,

And I'll be there with you.
